Plus isn't that top modular, as in the side and rear windows come out on the JL? How great would it be to be able to remove the rear window on the JT, then slide the entire top back. Sign me up.
I think the problem here is the internals. The AJT keyfob is still quite large to me and that seems to be dictated by the relatively large size of the internal circuit board.
Size comparison between AJT and Stock from AJT's website. It's a little less wide but not by much in my opinion...
I think this could only be possible if towing 8100lbs also kept the vehicle under the advertised GCVWR which is probably not likely.
Regardless it's bad form for Jeep to have such a discrepancy. This shouldn't even be a debate.
I have the Active Safety Group (Blind Spot Monitoring). I like it but the only complaint I have is that it has no provision for being in a multi-turn lane. So if I'm stopped at a left turn, where there are two lanes and I'm in the right most lane, once i start moving and it detects the other...
I'm mean sure, the TRX is an FCA product and I probably should have specified Jeep.
I see the Hummer as being an all electric competitor to the Wrangler/Gladiator. Sure, its 2x the cost but it sure has some cool stuff. Jeep is still catering to the few when it comes to creature comforts...
Yep, Agreed. I love seeing what Ford has come out with on the Bronco and GM now with the Hummer. It really goes to show just how behind in tech FCA is with their products. I hope this really starts to push them a bit to include more.
About 7-8 inches so far and still snowing in the south Minneapolis metro area.
And we were supposed to have moved to AZ this summer until the Covids happened.
Kids made a snowman already.
You should be able to search for PN 6LJ75TX7AC.
Ebay has them for slightly cheaper ($183). BAM wholesale has them for $150 but unsure what shipping would run.
The ones posted by @Fkinz look like a good option if you don't want Mopar specific ones.
I believe if you order the slush mats from the factory, the Jeep logo on them is black. If you order them aftermarket the Jeep logo is Red.
6LJ75TX7AC looks to be the part number for the black logo mats
82215626AC looks to be the part number for the red logo mats
The thing that drives me crazy about tube doors and the above rendering of a gladiator with half doors is where the rear door meets the back of the cab. It bugs me that the lines don't match up as the back of the cab is higher than the tube door.
Below is an example of the Quadratec tube doors...
I'm not disputing payload numbers but I understand that you're trying to show that since one number is correct that they all must be.
I would venture a guess that the website is using a generic calculation of GCVWR - weight of vehicle - 150lbs and just inserting that number into towing capacity...
The slots themselves aren't wider, it's the honeycomb pattern inside the slots that are bigger on the gladiator. Those honeycomb pieces can be interchanged so any grill that fits a JL should fit the Gladiator, you would just want to use the larger insets.
I didn't notice that before on the 10K one and agree with your assessment. I posted that link from my phone and didn't zoom in to examine the pixels.
It still leaves the '-1 lbs' towing capacity example, which at the least shows there is some issue with the calculations of towing capacity...
@danielspivey OK,
This user posted a screenshot showing the site reported he has over 10,000 towing capacity in his Gladiator Should he blindly believe this when Jeep clearly states otherwise...
Why do people continue to throw out this misinformation? The towing Capacity of the max tow is clearly stated as 7650 lbs. Just because the Mopar website is a POS and has the wrong information does not mean that someone’s vehicle is suddenly rated to tow 600 more pounds than what is clearly...
I have those same sill guards. I think they the best ones out there in terms of protection for that area.
I’ll be interested to hear your thoughts on the ride-rite system from Clayton when you get it installed.
