2 things I learned about the Jeep key fob...
1. It's possibly designed to look like an old WW2 Jerrycan
2. This is actually one of those little easter eggs you're not aware of, but apparently the key fob is designed to fit perfectly in the slot between the cup holders! I thought it was for my...
If you want to do a quick hack to disable your ESS, here's the solution -
The only thing is that when you disconnect the second hood pin, you'll always have the warning light on your dash.
There’s lots of guys who have tossed on 35’s with no lift...most are under the thread “what did you do to your Gladiator today?” but check out Brandon’s response and pics @ https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/35s-or-37s.18093/
LOL! I thought I was bad by wedging soft round fabric wax pads behind the mounts when I bolt/unbolt but you definitely win the OCD prize!!! Reminds me of the old SNL skit, “The Anal Retentive Chef” with Phil Hartman! https://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/anal-retentive-chef/n9695
Small complaint (I like having these kind!) but when you have the front doors off, the front passenger seat belt (when not buckled) can catch the wind and make an annoying flapping noise! To remedy, I simply buckle the front passenger seat belt ;) The rear seat belts have a little clip to keep...
Professor: “Now class, you’ll see there’s a direct correlation with brim straightness and wheel size...the X-axis represents brims ranging from standard curved to straight-ass douche hat here, whereas the Y-axis represents wheel size increasing from normal to absurd. As the brim decreases in...
My bad! Yeah it’s the Bestop targa sun bikini https://www.bestop.com/jeep/2020/gladiator/standard-targa-sun-bikini/ - fits great, took it on the highway at 65 mph and was nice and snug. I haven’t put the panels back in yet but it seems like it will be easy enough to do working through the mesh...
You can save some money by picking up a few of these at Home Depot for $5 each...I’m mounting 2 more since the front doors are too wide to double up on these hooks due to the side view mirrors (even once folded in) - I mounted 16” apart to ensure the back doors would fit once the windows are...
I posted this a few days ago under the "What did you do to your Gladiator today?" thread...
Wanted to get a back seat protector for my dog...this one from 4knines fits perfect and I tested with the top and doors off and it stays in-place great! Easy to access seat belts, center arm rest, and...
Eh...there's a good reason it was added. The shifter of the 2014 Jeep GC (including the one in my SRT) had a design flaw. You'd *think* you were in Park...but you really weren't...you were in NEUTRAL. You'd go to get out of your car in your inclined driveway and the car would start rolling...
2 quick mods...
Didn’t like the plastic look or ability for the 13” stubby antenna to bend over time so I purchased the 16” high performance one and then plasti-dipped the two metal fittings and used plasti-dip clear coat to match the glossy paint...
Yesterday I removed my doors and drove for the first time...FREEDOM!! So now that I’ve had a chance to drive without doors (and side mirrors) I’m looking for some advice on good mirrors that won’t vibrate too bad or fold in after 40 mph like many of the reviews currently show on Quadratec. Any...
You should check out this thread... https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/who-is-getting-the-bluetooth-speaker.8864/page-2
I have a Bose Soundlink III (you can still find them for around $250 used on Amazon and were $400 new) and it fits right in the same spot the $500 overpriced...
Never heard of waxing a windshield! Wouldn’t the ethanol and isopropyl alcohol essentially “melt off” any wax you apply once you spray the windshield?
