Maybe Jeep ought to consider a rear electric roll up window. The window would be in the truck it's self and roll up into the hardtop, or soft top. This way the tops would be lighter (hard top) and easier to remove. Aren't there trucks now with something like this?

Let's just say if one was interested in swapping out the red rubicon dash for the LE leather looking dash panels, would these be order able for a non-LE owner? Not even ready, just speculating.

Oh, and here is how you go to pick up your new JTR. Scarey part was driving with 46 psi in the tires on the new jeep. Like driving on ice !!!!!!!!

Agree. Got them on 3 jeeps right now. Not the 70th, but a 50th anniversary on the LJ and an older one on the TJR. Very heavy but they scream. No need to freespool those winches, they can go backwards faster then someone walking or running. But you better watch your hands when they are running.

Got the call yesterday afternoon that my JTR has been delivered to the dealer. I couldn't get there fast enough. Drove my TJR up there, hooked it to the JTR and towed it home. 45 lbs of tire pressure made the JTR drive like I was on ice, even worse towing my little jeep. Knew what the issue was...

Checking with Genesis, but I plan to use one of the higher amp switches in the momentary mode to toggle the battery parallel switch mounted on the battery bracket. Waiting on their call back to let me know if this will work...... Oh, still waiting on my JTR to be delivered..

So, I got an update today, that my jeep is at the railhead 90 miles away. Dealer said up to 10 days from today to be brought to their store. I'd like to drive up there, look over the fence and see if I can find it....haha..............

Dealer just told me my JTR is now at the railhead in SC. Up to 10 days to travel 90 miles? Crazy !!!!!!!!

I should have my JTR in a week or so, didn't get the factory spray in liner. So when I do get it done locally, I may have them spray a little of the front of the rear flare. Something that will look decent, while still protecting for future rock chips. Mine's black as well. We shall see.

I'd bet they are trying to push the soft tops and since everyone was so desperately waiting or the Gobi and Gator, FCA thinks they can stick the low selling soft tops down our throats? Or maybe they need to purge the existing soft tops for a newer version that looks and works better?

I should be getting mine in a week or 2, also have ordered the painted flares. Considering having the front bottom edge of the rear flares, maybe some of the area in front of that coated with line x. I plan to get the bed done, and may as well do some proactive treatment. Please show us where...

Congratulations. I'm wondering why it wasn't shipped to Dixianna, which is the auto rail head in Columbia and closest to your dealer. I'm in Charleston waiting on my JTR and was told Dixianna is where mine was headed before being trucked here.

I just spoke with Curt they say the plug 51459 doesn't work on the Gladiator, but is made for cherokee. I don't doubt you, but why wouldn't they say it fits both? Surely they know about the JT? I also read that there is a slight error when using the adaptive cruise control. Any experience with...
