The unistrut trolley is a great idea. I've been trying to plan out a way to store the hard top and an RSI SmartCap in the garage. Using the trolley and two separate sets of tracks, the SmartCap could slide under the hard top and still leave room to park underneath.
FYI: It looks like Coverking has updated the website and you're now able to order sample swatches. It's under the molded carpet section: https://coverking.com/products/molded-carpet?variant=41710562574498
Ordered a couple weeks ago, but thought I'd post to give others an idea of the current timeline.

I'm waiting on my order now. I think I can live with the halogen headlights, but I really dislike the factory tail lights. Those Oracle flush mount tail lights will be my first lighting upgrade.
Yea I agree. I would have assumed any LED based assembly would have the controller inside and would behave just like a traditional bulb. But this thread has made me question that.
I agree that a halogen will consume only consume the current it needs (it's a resistive device), but that's not true for a LED by itself. It's a diode whose ideal model is 0 ohms internal resistance. By itself it will always try to consume infinite current and burn up in the process. An LED...
For those of you who have flown in to pickup an order at Gupton, how did you get from the Nashville airport to Gupton? Looks like it's about 40 mins from the airport. Seems like an expensive Uber. Any other choices? With all the orders Gupton gets here there should be a regular bus route.
I went with a Rubicon partly because it adds the extra 500 lbs to the tow rating. This is my 'fun' vehicle and I decided having a manual was more important than having the max tow capacity. I'll still use it to tow, I'll just take it easy.
I just got the price order confirmation back from Gupton for my Rubicon. The prices line up with the 2/11/22 order guide except for 1 option. The Cold Weather Group (ADE) came in $300 less at $845 (MRSP). It's a manual transmission which can't have remote start. Is that why?
My towing would be for weekend Scout camping trips once a month or so. It's a cargo trailer that's estimated to be around 3500 lbs (no one knows for sure). I'm in flat land, but it would be highway driving for a few hours each way.
I understand this would be near the limit for a manual. What...
I'm ready to order my 2022 Gladiator and really want a manual transmission, but I'll need to occasionally do some towing. Is it the clutch or the transmission that limits the towing capacity in the manual transmission configuration? I'd be willing to live with short lifespan on the clutch.
