The detergents the touchless car washes use, at least in my area did some horrible things to soft tops in my experience. I hand wash in the months where that's possible and have the luxury of a hard top to switch to for the winter.
My neighbour and I got JKs at roughly the same time with soft...
The Turn BT On setting is in the app on your phone FYI.
Some, not all Android phones have a quirk that causes them to forget or not recognize previous BT connections with some poorly coded systems. UConnect being one of those systems that could really use an overhaul with their OS. Deep down...
Couple things to try:
- Make sure 'Turn Bluetooth On when Android Auto is Running' is activated in Android Auto Settings
- Go into your phone Settings and into Apps, then select the Android Auto app:
Turn off Battery Optimization in the Battery section
Clear the Cache in...
Some things I've found to cause the UConnect system to throw an error that might be similiar:
- Character length of any field in the metadata
- file size/storage media size
- Using non-alphabet characters in any field in the metadata
- corrupted sections in the media the music is stored on

Ordered the Bumper lights and harness during the sale yesterday. Looking forward to them since Iāve got a long, dark driveway to back up into. They look exactly what I need to maneuver around whatever else is behind me.
Wish their webpage showed when items were out of stock as I just got an...
Been burnt three times by 4WP over the years. After the first, I reluctantly ordered online twice more because they were the only place claiming the items I needed were in stock.
Every time, the experience was horrible. Had an in stock order āBeing Processedā for 7 weeks, and when I finally got...
BTW. If you're like me and don't like USB thumb drives sticking out just asking to be broken or making an OCD person crazy, check out a 'Low Profile' USB Thumb Drive. I'm using one and it lets me close that media door nearly all the way shut and still have a drive attached.

I've got my AAwireless adapter in the bottom of my armrest console connected to the USB port there. Works fine and I can use the dash console port to charge without issue.
I'm using the AAWireless unit, works pretty well. Everything works in Android Auto, can also plug my phone into a port for charging without issues. Have it plugged into the USB port in the middle console, connects automatically to my phone after about 15 seconds of starting the Jeep. Take a look...
Whenever I get a new Jeep, Iāll flip the top over when I get some time/opportunity and lay a 1/2in line of rubber caulking on the bottom. Just enough thickness to cover the bottom. When the top goes back on it creates a seal and prevents squeaking. Did it along the side edges of the Freedom tops...
I'm using the AAWireless unit as well. Plugs into a USB port and connects to your phone allowing wireless Android Auto. Takes a little adjustment of settings for my particular needs but it's pretty easy. Most of the YouTube videos that show install cover all you need to know.
UConnect has a 'feature' that causes it to force pair/prefer/set as primary the first phone with Bluetooth autopair turned on that comes within passenger range. This can happen even if another phone has already been set up with that UConnect system.
I've sent some data to the UConnect people...
Fishbone half rack on mine.
+ās
.With an RTT, its level with the hardtop thereby āaerodynamicā.
.Moving large items prohibited by short rack
.Iām short, itās easier to access the rack sides and top
.People think that the half rack is cooler and different

.Need an extra support bar to...
It does look like a nice rack. Disappointed in the customer service with it now that I have it on my JT unfortunately. But, they got my money and I guess that ends things. Overall, it's built well and after I fixed the issues with the nylon Lock nuts and nonadjustable top rails myself it's rock...
It fits under the OEM soft tonneau and does block the last 12in or so of trail rail but it's got a key lock as well as can be padlocked.
It's secure enough for storage for inexpensive or replaceable gear but it's plastic and locked with a simple lockbar system. It could be forced open pretty...
