Driving in 4WD around 45mph on paved or unpaved roads should be fine. Once you start getting up past 45mph, the problem is with changing direction ie. Turning the steering wheel past 2oclock/10oclock.
Keeping an eye on this thread. I've got the Fishbone rack as well. I've installed some Quickfist mounts so far but interested in what others have found.
There are some 1 inch mounts on either side. Thinking about picking up some surplus 1 inch metal bars from Home Depot and building some mounts...
Different hood and wiper surround on the Mojave. DD will have to note that the stock mount won't work with the new hood. Not really their fault, but they should make it right.
My experience has pretty much been the same. Ordered over $1k in parts mid-May and my card was charged immediately. Order showed āBeing processedā from that point onward. Mid June, tried calling 27 times during various times that they were supposed to be open and the phone was never answered...
a music playing/organizing program on a computer can help create or edit those ID3 tags. Theyāre basically information tags that get put on a mp3 file that contain the information like title, artist, album and track number. This is different from the file name.
The playlist is a list of music...
Somewhat associated, make sure your music is formatted in the ID3 format. If this is the case, you can sort the music using Uconnect according to artist, album, etc.
You can also create playlists in the .m3u format and place them in the top level of your USB stick.
There's some groups on Facebook, Overland Canada and Ontario Overland that get some traffic. But yeah, not much discussion that I can find either. I got my JT in May but with the current restrictions and slow shipping and production of parts it's been difficult to progress much. Took nearly 3...
Ive got a half rack as well. I used some bars from Home Depot that have holes all the way down with some L brackets. Created just a single cross bar level with the roof, so the kayak can rest on the roof and down to the cross bar.
Thatās half of the build, missing some bolts but itās pretty...
Building an extra crossbar to add to the top of my half rack, to provide a bar at roof level to carry my kayak.
Using an L shaped no name bar from Home Depot, and a couple L brackets. Itāll bolt to the rack when I need it.
Havenāt done any trails yet with my JT, still juggling time vs cash. There is an Ontario Offroad club that is active in riding and maintaining trails.

There are also a couple Facebook groups for Jeeps and Offroadingif youāre into the Facebook thing.
Keep in mind that car sales are down tremendously across the board. Young people are not buying cars anymore. Every car company has had to cut a majority of their selection, down to the bare minimum of what will sell not might sell. Taking a risk on a new model is even more difficult today as...
We've had three+ owners in the last while, each brought in their manufacturing process of choice. After a while they all meld together as the basis is similiar, just the paperwork changes.
Installed the M.O.R.E. Dead pedal which was fun and finally took delivery of the Fishbone Tackle Rack. Got a hitch Mount bed extender to allow me to pick up my new Kayak Friday.
Love the rack, was pretty straightforward to install but had some issues with the nuts not fully tying down. Sent...
From what I am able to gather, this is all about widening markets that Chrysler/Jeep and Peugot does not have viable access to on both sides of the pond. It's similar to why Fiat wanted Chrysler, to get back into the North American market. They also get shared I.P. and manufacturing processes...
As an FCA err Stellaris err whatever the hell we are now, employee we're not completely thrilled either. Just know that regardless of what we're called, it's still North American people building those cars.
Just came inside for a beer after installing the M.O.R.E. Dead Pedal
Had to literally lay upside down with my legs sticking out past the roof but got it in. It's great quality, heavy parts with good bolts. Once tied down, it isn't going anywhere.
The back bracket with the two fixed bolts...
