Mine is a 2022, just picked it up in August. I found the original fastener, it was on the floor in my garage. Have no idea how it could have fallen out with the vehicle parked, and no work has been done on it in the garage or the fender liner at all for that matter. I had backed over it at...
Mine did the same at <500 miles. Passenger front liner plastic fastener came out for the most forward point. I let someone borrow my truck to run into town at a Jeep meet over Labor Day and they mentioned a rubbing sound on long left turns at speed. We looked, didn't see anything. It did it...
2017 JKURR, 2020 JTS, 2022 JTS Diesel. Prior to that, I wheeled Isuzus all over the country for about a decade. Parts were getting hard to find, so I switched to the Jeep.
I would go with the safety grit tape for the rear. I used it on my JK tailgate top, looked the same after 3 years when I traded it in, Lowes carries it, easy to cut to fit.
I used the rugged ridge ones on both my gladiators, but my kiddos are 16 and 17, so rarely ride in the back.
Right off the bat easy, replace the dash corner speakers (takes 5 minutes). There are several sound bar replacement options; I did the 6x9 conversion, but there are pod versions as well. For bass, I highly recommend the JL stealthbox, not plug and play, but not hard to install. Fit and finish...
x2 on the armorlite, although I just removed the carpet and did nothing in my JK and my last Gladiator. This gladiator, I did armorlite, just to keep transmission tunnel heat down in summer.
I just picked up the craftsman toolbox for the bed from lowes, so all my stuff goes in there now. You can still fit smaller items behind the JL stealthbox. It doesn't take up all the room. You could easily keep a tow strap, 1st aid kit, etc., behind the box.
I have the JL setup, you would be hard pressed to beat it for the price. It's a fiberglass box, the subs alone are 400 bucks a piece. Fit is perfect. I know it's not what you asked, but...
Same route I went. Had 2020 max tow, gas. Pull a 4500lb trailer a few times a year. I was holding out for the 392, but since that was squashed, I got the next best thing. I love the diesel, torque for days and fantastic mpg. Plus, get rid of all the foam and blankets, sounds like a diesel...
Damn, you got a smoking deal for springs, shocks, control arms and all! I see them pop up cheap occasionally, but not that cheap. Having said that, I believe the max tow suspension is already taller than non-max tow. Taller springs in rear at least. Not 100% sure. But, since the Rubicon and...
Flat fenders were like 500 bucks and were installed on a Saturday morning. Could do it cheaper if you split Rubicon flare takeoffs. (Probably free). My suspension geometry stayed in stock configuration, no adjustable control arms needed, no alignment, etc. I never disconnected my front sway...
You can run 35s on a max tow with no lift, and ZERO rub. Just do a set of flat fenders. I ran both badge trails at SMORR with that setup and never rubbed.
Mine works fine, but does not perform the pulse sequence if my headlights are on (in auto, haven't tried manually). It does perform my pulse sequence during daylight and headlights off, I can see it in the reflection of my garage door.
No Chevy products in my history. Lots of fords, Hondas, audi, etc. On my 3rd jeep, it was my 2017 jk that took me a while before I knew those buttons were there. My dealer was useless, didn't even know how to fold the top down.
