I throw mine on the rear floorboard. No doors from Easter to Halloween, so if it's on the seat, it ends up in the street. The floor is pretty safe though.
Get the RAM one. Your phone will not fall out, ever. I rolled my sxs, phones stayed right in the cradle.

I have one in the gladiator as well. Currently using it with a Zfold 3, no problems.
It was a PITA, gotta take the seats out, and I don't think there is a way to get it out without breaking clips. I removed the factory subwoofer, cut the plastic, and fit a Punch P3 12 behind the passenger side rear seat. It just barely fit, actually had to cut the middle seatbelt assembly out...
I don't think measuring the height of the tire is the correct way to calculate. You need to measure the circumference. Use chalk, make a stripe on the tire, roll it back until you leave two marks. Measure the distance between the stripes on the ground. Then calculate diameter from that...
So I had a 2020 with the alpine premium stereo. Sounded like garbage, I threw the factory sub away and installed a Punch P3 12 behind the rear passenger seat. Also did the MBquart 6x9 mod in the soundbar.
Picked up my 22 with premium alpine this week. Night and day difference. It is banging...
Just went from a max tow 2020 sport s to a 2022 sport s diesel. Getting >25 mpg in ecoD. My 2020 maybe got 20 stock, and 12-14 mpg once I went to 35s. The ecoD is a race car, and that is without a tuner or anything.
Did mine today in a 2022. Fortunately had a set of e-sockets. My last gladiator was torx bolts, must be a change to the 22. I could not get the b-pillar to seat on either side. Had to trim the flooring, it was just too thick.
Agree on pry bar for front center console.
Took my son and me...
Loaner situation and parts availability aside, I would be really pissed if my brand truck was in the shop for months. For every month it sits in service, they should extend your factory warranty by 2 months. That truck sitting is equivalent to them stealing from me. They are eating away at...
Add me to the list of Sport S orders with the shit dash cluster. Took delivery last night, ordered back in May. When you select the premium audio, it asks you to pick a package. I went with the more expensive package. That package does not include the better dash display. Dumb. Even the...
Yippee! Ordered 20 May, Sport S, EcoDiesel, every option. Tracker shows an estimated delivery date of 4 Aug. (Started at 18July, and kept shifting one week starting a few weeks ago). It showed up at my dealer today! They are getting the bed lined, and then I can go get it!
Get a vector dash bar and some RAM mounts. You can mount whatever you want, wherever you want. I put one in every Jeep I buy.

Thanks for the clarification, rear seat arm rest is the only functional difference I see. My sport s had auto climate control. I presume the one I have on order will as well. (Ordered with every option except leather, I have wet okole seat covers since I run doorless from Easter to halloween)
Out of curiosity, what luxury items can I get on an overland that I can't get on a loaded Sport S? I did the build on Jeep site, and I don't see a difference other than some cosmetics and wheel selection. Functional things, all selectable on Sport S.
So I had some on my JKU, then on my JT as well, 8 piece RGB set.
Pros: The lights are bright, never had one fail. Easy to install magnet mounts. High quality. Can easily move lights around to go from cool mall crawler, to functional work light. (I left a few feet of slack at each light for...
My oldest son (16) bought a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek Sport. At purchase, they offered us 99 bucks for 3 years of the sirius subscription for remote access. Allows start/stop, lock doors, etc. Same as ours. I told him that was a steal compared to what they charge for the Jeep.
For those worried about blocking rear view, I just use a touch screen rearview mirror with dual camera DVR. I run a bedrack, so can't see out the window anyway.
