Dallas to Dover round trip. 2900 miles + about 300 local miles. 950 miles in one day on the way home. Northern VA to Southwest of Little Rock AR. 27.5 mpg in diesel.

I've always put in a bottle of RXP in the next fill up after oil changes. It does run better on that tank. I'm not sure if RXP can be used in diesels.

Diesel costs 10% more than gas but about 30% or more mileage. Maintenance costs more, but it runs better and more quiet than gas.

What changed? Better fuel? Driving habits and traffic?

I just got something in the mail. It was a citation for doing 48 in a 35 in Washington DC in my Gladiator. They have speed trap cameras on New York Avenue that take your photo and mail you the ticket. FYI. $100.

I just did a Dallas-Delaware round trip. I got 24.5mpg in the mountains doing 80mph and 29.7mpg doing 70 on level interstates. About 27.5 overall in my Sport S diesel. No issues.

I put holes in mine to use as handles and tie down points. Mine is stained cedar.
