Towed my boat home today pic taken at the boatyard after I towed it from the spot. Boat weight dry is about 3k but it was loaded. Trailer weight is over 1600lbs.
Need to rev it high and power into first, once moving it is ok to scoot along slow just starts to stall out In dead idle but with a...
Mine hasn’t done turned off again. So maybe it was the radio itself and not actually a ground issue. Either way I can’t replicate it anymore so no point going to the dealer for a problem I cant find haha.
I have heard random single Chimes while driving down the highway.
I have had this issue twice as well. To me it seems like a ground issue In the radios wiring. I noticed it kept resetting then one day as I drove it made a small pop noise and screen went out then back on. I will probably have to take it back to the dealer but I doubt they will find it this...
Picked mine up Friday drove it about 120miles over the weekend. When I first left the lot it was weird. The things I don’t like are the hill assist feature, and the throttle off delay. With the hill assist on it felt very civic like with lots of gas needed to get going until the brake releases...
Overly or underly sensitive gas pedal?
My mustang bucks like hell in 1-2 because the gas pedal is super sensitive. The first 5% seems to have 90% of the throttle response. The acceleration of the car is enough to move your foot back and cause deceleration/bucking as you push down. I have to...
Curious about how it behaves with just easing the clutch and no gas applied. My mustang and Toyota climb most hills at idle without applying gas. (I hit heavy traffic on a bridge with a moderate incline almost everyday) with those two I can just ease the clutch and drop the brake and idle along...
I like the iPad in a life proof case- or other ruggedized tablets with an internal GPS. You can add other apps and upload photos with geotags and attach your photos to maps. The dedicated system might be better if you use it a lot, but portable intuitive devices are easier for occasional use.

Whoa you have to pay a deductible for glass? My state windshields are covered by insurance free if you have comprehensive by law. Guess we pay for it in the long run but its nice when you have to use it. But at $800 dollars I think that’s good odds considering my quote is sub $1000 a year.
I am well aware of all of the laws pertaining to motor vehicles in my state.
There are many street legal driving lights on the market and exemptions in my state for on road use of auxiliary lighting. The only MVI of concern is “failure to dim high-beams” which is alleviated by having a single...
I intend on putting a pair of off-road/driving lights on my front bumper. On my last truck I had a 3 position switch (on/when highbeams are, off,On) so that driving on windy backroads I could flick everything off with the high beams. I could turn them on for beach lighting without keys near the...
My 02 Tacoma had a factory clutch override switch designed for that purpose. I used it once in 4 low on a rock face start and it made some fucked up noises and barley scooted forwards. From then on I just started it normally and slipped the clutch a little if it was tough to get going again...
The AMP research bed extenders are adjustable should fit any vehicle. I saved mine off my Tacoma, just haven’t received my gladiator yet.
Only issue I can foresee is the mounting, I’m going to hate drilling into a new truck bed.
I sold my 2002 built taco (doubler, ect,220k plus and still reliable) for the Gladiator I ordered (not yet delivered) and I never test drove a manual one.
So far the old taco is the best manual I’ve owned to date. (Including ranger, civic, 15 civic SI, Ford Mustang and 2 Tacoma’s)

I wish they had an option to tie it into the high beams as well. Guess when I get mine I will have to splice my off-road lights into the high beams wire directly.
