My tracker updated to being in production and then just froze up with zero updates for weeks. It wasn't until I reached out to forum member on my Powerwagon forum that had access to the system that I found out it had been built and was just waiting on a train. I don't know if the tracker and...
Great looking Mojave! I have the hydro blue on my Ram Powerwagon and love that color. Those butt and hand warmers are certainly nice to have in the winter!
That's the tough part about forums and asking about deals if you aren't willing to shop out of state. Offers vary so much by region. When we took delivery of our Mojave in Oct, you could get 10% off Sports in my area, but nothing off Rubicons and Mojaves. Meanwhile, you could get 10-15% off...
Interesting. Thanks for the share. I worked closely with GM and Ford back in the early 2000s and even back then suppliers were complaining how the OEMs keep pushing them to source cheaper and cheaper components. Sounds like things haven’t exactly improved in 25 years.
As for the UAW folks back...
I worried about the same thing since mine got shipped out just before the strike. Was mine put together with every UAW member half paying attention and dying to walk off the line? Who knows? So far the wheels haven't fallen off yet. LOL.
So what do we have? 3 guys left in here waiting...
I wonder how many 23s they have left to clear out to hit full 24 production? Even without the strike in the summer, seems like they are way behind on the MY transition. Especially with the Gladiator.
I'm just glad I got my 23 Mojave when I did. I'm sure the Rubicon/ Mojave packages are...
Holy cow! I can't believe they are still wrapping up 2023s and Punkns! No wonder so many 23s are on lots and no 24 pricing is out there. My buddy's 23 in Bikini with a manual just got scheduled last week and he ordered a month before I did and before the strike (I took delivery of mine back...
I don't think its a matter of just one thing. Supply too high with building out 23s and people wanting to wait for 24s, interest rates terrible and a unique vehicle that has to compete in a mid-size truck market that it is sort of a 'square peg in a round hole' comparison to cushier small...
As others have said, make sure you qualify for all of those discounts and rebates. That's a time honored bait-and-switch with dealers.
I ordered our Punkn Mojave through Gupton and took delivery right before prices took the plunge (great timing on my part - haha). However, the color was key...
I would agree this is the crux of the problem. Its not brand or vehicle specific and most times its a small percentage of overall vehicles. Crappier engineering? Planned obsolescence? Cost cutting? All of the above? Who knows?
However, if you are in that small percentage of folks having...
Haha. I agree. I have fond memories of my single cab Ranger as a teenager, but I also remember not being able to fit anything in the truck and one of my brothers hanging half out the window when we had to jam someone in the middle seat.
Just like 2 door jeeps look better than 4 doors, I...
If you have a taller tire and the oem backspacing, you could rubbing at full flex or steering lock. That’s why I was curious what size they were. The JL/JT platform makes huge tires look standard.
Are those still the oem 33s?
This is probably your issue. My Ram had the auto high beams and it drove me nuts until I figured out why it was doing it. There was a setting in the Uconnect that let me shut that feature off. Not sure if Jeep allows you to shut it off in the vehicle settings too.
Don't put too much faith in that tracker. Its about as up to date and reliable as the vehicle builder on the Jeep site. Our Punkin Mojave squeaked out right before the strike and it went from In Production with zero updates for a month to JB shipped out of the blue. I only knew about its...
Ha! Well, we met you there and spoke actually. My wife was the one that just got the Punkn Mojave that we picked up in TN from Gupton on the way down. It was parked by its lonesome in the parking lot at trail check in. I think she talked to you at registration and I chewed your ear a bit in...
I was at Cumberlands as well. Great event, but those trails are no joke! Its been about 10yrs since we've been to that specific jamboree and forgot how much that town rolls out the red carpet and how fun/ hard the trails can be. We ran the harder 7-8 rated trails (Alcatraz and Test N Tune) in...
