Winner announcement is on November 27th—we’ll select 3 winners to receive mats.
If you already have 3W mats or another...
Sorry, should have come back and updated sooner. So Far I am very pleased with these tires. They are wearing really well, still quite and they perform very well in the rain and snow (3"-8") experienced.
They hook up awesome in Moab and do really well in Colorado, They do claw a bit in the looser...
Pulled the front differential cover to check wear pattern and to change fluid after seeing my rear ring and pinon.
Doing the same as the rear, just showing, not as deep as the back but it only gets used a couple times a year and on bad winter days.
Guaranteed I will never use another Yukon...
Awesome to hear you got the ball rolling. Glad I could help in any way possible.
Now the wait begins, but it will all be worth it. Just keep us posted.
Those gears are going to be to low, RPM's will be to high at cruising. I have 4.88's running 38" tires in mine and sometimes wish I had 4.56's. Here is a break down of my speeds, shift points and RPM's.
1-2: 1670 RPM's 12 mph
2-3: 1479 15
3-4: 1430 19
4-5: 1440 25
5-6: 1356 30

Check your sway bar end link bolts. Make sure they are tight. Do not just try and wiggle them, put some wrenches on them and give them some torque. I had a clunk issue at one time and finally found it when I put wrenches to stuff and found the right sway bar link bolt loose. Good luck.
No visible reason, he had never seen one like that either. Basically comes down to overloading, low gear lube or installation issue, It started out quiet and I know the oil level was correct as I had recently checked it.
Honestly, I am suspicious of manufacturing. Have read some stories from...
Thought you all might like to see what these Yukon gears with roughly 60,000 miles on them over the 4 years they have been installed looked like.
Started to get a whine from the rear end. Whine had been there for a bit and finally got into my guy that does my gear installs, he has probably done...
I pull a 17RK Jayco Hummingbird camper. I would like a rear view camera that is powered at all times, not off of the trailer lights that have to be on (which could be solved with some creative wiring on the trailer). It would be nice to be able to either select which view you have, truck no...
I have a Midland MXT275 mounted and 2 handhelds. This way I always have a radio with me, and
when my boys go out with me I give them my handhelds and just use the lower channels and we can all communicate.
Wanted to update this thread.
I have around 60,000 miles on the conversion and still running great. In fact, I recently swapped the 6.4 intake onto the 5.7 and HP Tuners opened my tune up to see and allow adjustments for the dual runners.
Runs very smooth and may have increased my fuel mileage...
