I read somewhere the Jeep made it a "dumb gauge" based on past complaints of it running very warm. It only goes above that level if it is starting to overheat from what I understand. I don't want my gauge to only tell me when it is too late.
I'm good with it being in the normal range, but I'd like a real gauge showing me where it is relative to max temp.
I'm an analog watch guy though. That's just me. ?
Does anyone else see a problem with this?
At 203 degrees and 230 degrees, the gauge shows the same. ?
One was normal driving and the other was pulling our camper uphill.
I've read about why Jeep does this, but I think it is BS. I'd rather have a real, working gauge.
I guess it's a Jeep thing...
I know that Amp Research has a bed step, but it looks to go on the passenger side and comes straight out the back.
I'd really prefer a bed step on the driver's side and to come out at an angle that would allow me to use it with the tailgate down.
Are there any options out there besides Amp...
???
I'm a looking time Toyota guy so I'm doing my best with this.
I love the Gladiator and the EcoDiesel is a great choice for pulling our camper. My wife will be the primary driver while I put 40k/yr on my Tacoma.
I just hope this oil leak is a simple fix and not something like an oil pan...
This is my first Jeep and my first diesel.
At around 1k miles, maybe less before I actually noticed it, I'm getting a little oil spot on the ground under the center of the engine.
I'm also at 50% on the DEF gauge with about 1,300 miles now. I'm hoping the selling dealer didn't fill it up...
I think the 17'-19' box size camper is a great size for the JTR Eco. You may want/need bigger though. We don't stay in the camper much. No need for recliners or a TV.
This EcoDiesel is my very first diesel vehicle.
Can someone confirm these are good coolant temps?
Just a driver in mixed driving is about 203 degrees.
Pulling my 4k lb camper at 65 is about 213 degrees.
Does this sound right?
We have had our 2021 Sport EcoDiesel for just a few weeks now.
I used it to pull our 4,000 lb. (dry) camper to the house for some de-winterizing and then put in on the highway for some 65-70 mph cruising to see how it pulled.
My coolant temp seems to normally run ~203 degrees with just the wife...
This is the Tennessee flag for those that don't know what it looks like.
I'm not a stars and bars kind of guy, but I'm in an area where it really wouldn't be a problem if someone mistook it.
A Rainbow flag would probably garner more negative attention in my area. (Not my thing, but to each...
I recently bought a set of Rubicon wheels/tires from another member, but 828 miles separated us.
I was able to easily ship them for ~$150 from South Florida to Memphis. How?
www.quorier.com
They are still relatively new and we did have a hiccup with the Bill of Lading, but it wasn't a big...
I found this on Etsy and had to rep my State of Tennessee.

I have a 2021 Sport S with the EcoDiesel.
I have the opportunity to buy a used Tazer Mini that has been unmarried to a 2020 Overlander gas engine.
I may have incorrectly assumed that wouldn't be a problem, but you have to really lay out what you have if you are ordering directly from Z...
Found the answer to my own question, but I'll leave this here for posterity.
Wheel - ~24 lbs
Falken Wildpeak M/T - 61 lbs
85 lbs total for each wheel/tire
I'm going to have a set shipped to me and I need to get a good weight estimate for the shipping.
Can someone tell me what a Granite Crystal Aluminum wheel with the Falken 85/70/17 tire on it weighs?
Thanks!
