I learned about Beaman Auto in Murfreesboro, TN here on the forum. Connected with David Hemontolor there and he was very helpful in ordering/delivering my Launch Edition.
I would have no reservations in recommending them. Completely worth the drive from Georgia.
It's an adjustment. I had two Wranglers back in the mid-90s. I enjoyed them, for sure, but hadn't driven a lot of different vehicles. The Gladiator is my return to a Jeep and the driving dynamic is very different from what I've grown used to. Not bad, just different.
Definitely confirm tire...
I drove mine around 200 miles home. Mostly interstate, which is not ideal for break-in. During break-in it's best to vary revs, engine brake, etc...
So I spent most of the drive in manual mode working through the gears and varying revs since I was maintaining road speed. This allowed a lot of...
I'm not big on conspiracy theories, but who knows?
I did share my story though. I did the reservation on 4/4, received the email, and then never got a call. I assumed I was too late and all 4190 were taken. Then Jeep said there would be a waitlist, so I thought maybe I'd get on that. Then, in...
Not me. Though now I'm curious who it is. I assume it is a female? Of all the other Macey's I've known they have all been female. I'm only the male I've met so far with the name.
Out and about today. Took it over to let my dad check it out. He always puts up flags for Memorial Day and kept them up for D-Day. At any rate, a great photo opportunity for the new rig.
Went to work this morning getting it cleaned up.
I'm going to have to rethink my process for washing given the larger size of the truck versus the cars, but it cleaned up nicely. Definitely some leftover bug residue on the rear part of the top. Everything rear facing was covered in bugs from...
Picked mind up today as well. Drove round trip to TN. Totally worth it.
@ATLTiger we will have to meet up. I'm in Cumming and see you did delivery at Jasper Jeep. Grew up right down the road and family still there. Right off 108 if you know the area. Nice to see we appreciate the same color...
If you follow the Build Sheet thread you might have seen my details. I was incredibly fortunate on timing as I placed my LE order on May 16 and took delivery today. Like Henry Ford, I'm a believer in any color, as long as it's black. So after an 8 hour round trip adventure, I have now returned...
I did the Pre-Order process when it went live online. Well, that day. It was early morning but I'm sure I wasn't one of the first. I never received a call from the Concierge but did receive an email saying they experienced overwhelming demand and someone would be in touch.
The local dealer...
Sorry. Usually would have included more details, as I had tried to keep it up-to-date. Traveling this week and dropped that message in with limited details.
Launch Edition - Black
5/16 - Order locked
5/20 - VON and VIN
Notified it was in D1 status a couple of weeks ago. Then the build sheet...
Nice write-up Iron Wolfpack and beautiful truck.
Great to hear all the positives and appreciate you sharing your perspective. Very excited for mine to arrive and looking forward to putting miles on it.
I ordered an LE, so it comes with it. But prior to ordering I looked for a Rubicon with it and couldn't find one in-stock. While not a total deal breaker, it was something I preferred to have.
I have no realistic need for it. It was purely a want for me.
I live in north Georgia and they seem to be moving well. CarGurus shows 72 within 50 miles and roughly half have actual photos. I assume most of the remainder are incoming.
And the dealers I check out like Jasper Jeep, Roswell Jeep, Marietta Jeep - they have little to no inventory.
Once all...
