Launch Edition Delivered

If you follow the Build Sheet thread you might have seen my details. I was incredibly fortunate on timing as I placed my LE order on May 16 and took delivery today. Like Henry Ford, I'm a believer in any color, as long as it's black. So after an 8 hour round trip adventure, I have now returned home with my new rig.

Special thanks to Beaman Auto in Murfreesboro, TN and David Hemontolor for working with me on this process. They made it simple and easy, even for an out-of-state purchase.

Not much to say on options, since it is an LE. And black is black. So there's that.

I traded a 2017 Porsche Macan and the 200 mile drive home was very different from the 200 miles there. I'll air down the tires tomorrow and get it cleaned up. They were kind enough not to wash it, at my request.

Looking forward to getting more time and experience with it. But so far, so good. Definitely an awesome truck and I can't wait to put it to use.

Went to work this morning getting it cleaned up.

I'm going to have to rethink my process for washing given the larger size of the truck versus the cars, but it cleaned up nicely. Definitely some leftover bug residue on the rear part of the top. Everything rear facing was covered in bugs from the hauler.

Also haven't finished the tires. But the sun caught up to me so I'll hit them tonight.

Also removed the remaining stickers and cleaned up the glass and interior plastics. As well as programming HomeLink.

Now to remove the top and get Alison driving it!

It is off 108. That's where I grew up. He's lived there pretty much his entire life.
