But I can try, Right! I'm shooting for 53k
You can do anything you want. Just keep in mind what you want is close to a 15% off MSRP and for any Rubicon JT, is practically unheard off.

I think at $53K, most dealers would be loosing money and unless FCA gives the dealers more hold-back money to move on the lot Rubicon LE's, they are not going to dip that low. You could possibly hit a dealer up on the last day of the month that is hungry to make a sales quota for a corporate SPIFF that allows them to take the loss to make the money on the SPIFF, but not all operate that way.

Even the current COVID-19 situation is not really pushing bottom dollar pricing down, just better finance and payment options. Going to depend on how you value your time and risk averse you are in waiting. Dither long enough looking for that last nickle to squeeze out of a deal, the less you are going to find an available LE to deal on.

I have a similar question, maybe a different wish list than some. Why not discount current stock to keep the economy moving? We need more production, not profit off of existing stock. It's all about jobs and cash flow short term, imo, not Corp profit. Will be interesting to see if they allow refi into better loans for current owners. I'm not sure what gets us out of this hole, butF could lead the effort. #nothingjeeperscanthandle

Not an economist by any means but publicly traded companies with shareholders do not do well playing a Zero Sum Game.

Yes. I'm wondering if I am beating my head against a wall thinking maybe, just maybe, this time we will rebuild the middle class firstly. I was taught that it was the one great American invention, worth fighting for, the fact that average people could enjoy life liberty and pursuit of happiness without limitation. This more recent two income household requirement was troublesome for family life, imo. In automotive, we have stock and supply chain for a strong economy. What happens next, we will all see together! I don't mean to thread jack.. we can move along. Just hoping for that real inexpensive JTLE!!!:CWL::like:

Which dealers? Considering going for the LE...
Gun

Gunter - Martinsville VA, but only if you want GCM and don't mind the long drive. However I would not recommend this dealer in general, but if you really want GCM then worth it.

I picked up a Launch edition two weeks ago today for $53k. I asked three dealers for final offers for a JT and trade on my JKUR, and they were all severely discounted. The LE was my favorite as far as options, so I went with that.
