Not sure they would fit in a flat rate box but I will try it. They don't weigh very much at all. I'll try and get you a number this weekend. I'm pretty busy the rest of the week with work.
I can respect that. I think the factory camera is the way to go if you can swing it but not everyone can and part of driving (off-roading) a Jeep is making shit work that isn't supposed to.
I've never been. With good lines and bigger tires I'm sure I'll get through. If not, the guys with the winches will get to play with their toys.
I plan on Uwharrie December 7th.
This conversation is for adults. Besides, the front camera requires more than just buying the camera and childish name calling from other forum members.
I didn't go Saturday. There were plenty of people there I'm sure but nobody I knew was going so I just stayed home and added parts. A Jeep club some friends of mine are a part of are going again the first Saturday in December (7th) and I'll probably go with them then. You are welcome to ride...
Looks like fun. I'll be at Windrock with a bunch of other Jeeps on the 29th and 30th. Come hang out with us. We're going to ride Nemo tunnel trail as well. How far is that from where you were Saturday?
It does seem to be a lot of work for a camera but I understand the OPs reasoning. I have the 7" screen as well so the Z Automotive kit isn't an option. As for powering the camera, up to a certain speed the rear camera will display even with the transmission in drive. I have done this several...
Put in some inner fenders by Hooke Road. They look good now but what a pain in the ass to put in. Only two holes lined up and I had to cut some off of both sides because the tires rubbed at full lock. For $109 I guess they aren't too bad but I'll never buy them again. They came plain black with...
The drive-in theater we like to go to plays all their audio through the FM radio directly into the vehicle. With the switch in the ACC position so the radio works, the screen will stay on in the wife's car. This is how we solved the problem.
I agree. It kind of drives me nuts too. It's not like the JT is a surprise addition to the Jeep lineup. Everyone knew it was coming.
I agree with this too. Most of the products are still in development BUT...the platform for which they are being designed is already available and so too should...
I've done Table Rock before. Really nice place to unwind but the hike/climb to the summit is a workout for sure. Some of those "steps" are a challenge for my smaller stature (short) wife.
I would guess it's because the original LF is now stationary and the truck isn't picking it up. Since the truck is only capable of reading four sensors, it may need to re learn each wheel. Maybe even with the (LF spare) away from the truck. One of my prior vehicles had re learn the TPMS by...
Where are you guys measuring to determine how much lift you need for the front to level the truck? I have always measured from the tire up to the bottom of the fender but looking through all these threads, there seems to be a great deal of difference in how much lift is needed from truck to...
