All I have is a MultiMeter, not sure I can properly load test a battery with it but I can get a voltage reading. The batteries are factory Jeep on my 2020.
That's what I thought as well, always seemed like a good battery should never get close to 12.0v. when mine hit 12.5v I knew something...
That's my fear, Jeep makes diagnosing these things so difficult that the average home mechanic has no means to figure out if we should just replace the battery or alternator. Instead we have to take it to a specialist and pay a premium for something that seems like just an easy dead battery...
I do understand the low voltage is ok because if the "inverter" alternator but after that pic on the way home I got down to 12.5v constant while driving and it never goes above 14v ever. I used to have the jeep shut off in ESS at almost all lights, not I get lucky if it happens twice a day. I...
Hey guys I know something's probably wrong with my Gladiator and I'm hoping it's just the batteries.
I just had an ESS event and when it started all the lights dimmed down pretty low like the battery is about to die.. So I checked my voltages while driving home the highest I ever get is 14 V in...
If you absolutely need more ground clearance over traction then don't air down. Or if you don't have a means to air back up when returning to the road, then don't air down. Those are the only two things I got. Lol.
Don't forget that if you need that much travel you are probably moving pretty fast. Quick suspension reaction isn't a thing with the JT's solid front axel. Things like that are more suited to a IFS vehicle, where a short shock can still be used as it would be mounted closer to the pivot and...
I would actually think you might notice it more on a Rubi than a Sport. From what I gather in the forums here the Rubi suspension is softer than the Sport suspension.
The width of that insert looks perfect for a hard cased storage right at the cab side wall of the bed. Pop it off and into a case in the bed attached to the wall and off you go!
The problem lies with a company renting you something that if used properly to its fullest will be more than the vehicle can tow. Yes you can say and even have it in writing that you wont overload the trailer for the tow vehicles load, but if you get into an accident and all things were the...
I'm no Jeep engineer but it sounds to me like a micro switch that is supposed to engage when the shifter is placed into reverse isn't working. If they kept it simple it will be located where the shifter stalk contacts something when its in reverse. Knowing Jeep though its some convoluted code...
Anti-Spin seems like a misnomer when referring to its use in very bad grip conditions like snow. It is supposed to add torque to the wheel with less traction but if both have equally low traction like on snow or ice then the anti spin just chucks power to both wheels and they both spin... no...
That's the key word there. Available, not standard. A lot of options get labeled like that to try and trick people into thinking they get everything if they just but the base model.
I suppose one could take it to a shop, machine or otherwise and have a drain plug drilled and tapped. No idea how much that would cost but it's an option since the area is still prepped and flat for one.
How petty can one be? They are just promo shots for their lighting. People that absolutely hate and despise gecko's probably still get Geico insurance.
And if you're that worried about it they still fit the Gladiator if you shop by vehicle...
