I used wire snips along the seam. I guess if ya had patience, you could use a seam cutter from a sewing kit. After taping the wire bundle, I taped the nylon strap partially back together.
Today I fixed the wiring for the driver's rear door
No shit. Dome light didn't work for that door. Stealership wanted to replace the door latch actuator. No thanks, I'll figure it out. Rear door was easier than driver's front door. Both were about halfway, where the strap bends when door is closed.
Nylon sheath, as in the strap?
I opened door completely to create room to work. Popped the door panel mostly off, to get the wire bundle free. Once I moved the strap up or down to find broken wires, I was able to use wire snips on the threads holding the nylon strap together. I think that strap...
100k today

Drivers front axle seal
Leaking radiator

Now dealing with drivers door power locks (wires)
Checked the harness pins, all good. Found out I'm no longer a contortionist, astigmatism and bifocals can't see shit upside down very close up, can't take pictures for shit
So, I was able to carefully pry the Christmas tree clip behind the harness so I could get eyes and light on it.
Will chase...
This is my plan for the weekend. I'm checking for bent pins tonight. If none, then I'll leave harness undone till I can get into the wiring this weekend.
Pcm disconnect didn't work, BUT I did notice (in dark garage) that the lock/unlock button on the door is not lit up and neither works to operate locks. Guess I'll be checking pins in the harness, wiring in loom, then pricing a new button.

Welp, wasn't the fob. I'm disconnecting the main battery now and letting it sit for 30min. Too cold to be crawling around looking at door harness pins, that's a weekend job anyway. I have seen some videos of worn (even split) wires in the loom of wires to the harness. Hopefully that's not it
2020 Sport S. Wondering if anyone else had this problem. When I go into park, shut off truck, and open the driver's door, it automatically locks all doors while it's open. Can't leave fob in it or I'll be locked out. Also, when I get in and close the door, it locks the doors immediately and...
I've also found Kenda to be subject to cupping. I did get 40k miles out of Kenda M/T 35's. Switched to Pat's M/T 37's and got 48k miles out of them. I've now switched to an X/T, Arturo Trail Blade, since my 100k miles have only been 5% off-road and the only rock crawling i do is at Drummond...
