2020 Sport S. Wondering if anyone else had this problem. When I go into park, shut off truck, and open the driver's door, it automatically locks all doors while it's open. Can't leave fob in it or I'll be locked out. Also, when I get in and close the door, it locks the doors immediately and honks 3x. I haven't had doors off in 4 months, so I'm doubting bent pins, but I don't know where to start troubleshooting.

Might be a problem with that fob. Swap fobs and see if the problem persists.

Welp, wasn't the fob. I'm disconnecting the main battery now and letting it sit for 30min. Too cold to be crawling around looking at door harness pins, that's a weekend job anyway. I have seen some videos of worn (even split) wires in the loom of wires to the harness. Hopefully that's not it

Pcm disconnect didn't work, BUT I did notice (in dark garage) that the lock/unlock button on the door is not lit up and neither works to operate locks. Guess I'll be checking pins in the harness, wiring in loom, then pricing a new button.

How old are the batteries in your key FOB's?

Not the same issues as you but a few months ago I was having some weird issues when entering or exiting the Gladiator only when using the passive entry. It would sometimes not lock or unlock the doors or disarm the alarm when using the passive entry but oddly always worked if I used the buttons on the FOB. One time I locked the doors with the passive entry, started walking away in a large quiet empty parking lot and I heard the doors unlock and the alarm started going off even though the doors never opened. I ended changing my FOB battery and haven't had any issues since.

Have you taken your doors off? If yes, then you may have bent pins

Check the wiring harness on the door. The wires are prone to cracking/splitting/breaking from basic use (opening and closing).

Strip the wrapping about 6-8" back and you may see some fraying/splitting. Happened to me too when my proximity locks stopped working.

This is my plan for the weekend. I'm checking for bent pins tonight. If none, then I'll leave harness undone till I can get into the wiring this weekend.

Is the battery in the second FOB the same age as the first one?

A new CR2450 battery is around $10 and is an easy troubleshooting step to try before diving deeper.

Swapping out batteries in fobs is a cheap starting point. When the battery failed in mine it did some strange stuff. I ended up changing both fob's batteries.

Jeep Gladiator Power door locks acting up 20260212_175050

So, I was able to carefully pry the Christmas tree clip behind the harness so I could get eyes and light on it.
Will chase wiring on Sunday

I needed a telescope to check my pins. And I still had to wear my readers!
