Installed (at home) all 4 replacement center caps. Corporate tire store wanted to do the install. "No thanks, you've done enough, I'll take care of it from here"
Pat's M/T were my last set, granted "only 37x12.5", but 2 of em cupped at 30k miles. Loud as F for 22k miles. FYI. You may have better luck. I loved Pat's for 30k miles
I also went with a hybrid this time. 94,000 miles in, on a DD, with maybe 1000 off-road. Got 42,000 out of M/T 35's and 52,000 out of M/T 37's. Idk if I can get more out of X/T 37's, but maybe more peace and quiet
Replaced radiator. Well, paid a guy to replace radiator, $250. Job spec'd at 5hrs. Which means 10hrs for me. So, $250 seemed like a great idea for my time
Idk, seized, to me, means won't turn. I think the dummy heads still spin. These caps have 3 screws 2 dummies. Oddly enough, they were able to get 1 screw out of each cap. So, did they spin the dummies and give up?
Got new tires today. Trail Blade x/t. Thanks to the tire jockey at the corporate store, I'm now waiting for them to order me new center caps. They told me the screws were seized on and would have to break them off to balance tires. I said, ok, so when I get home and take the screws out, YOU are...
Thanks again. Tired of watching the dash board volts, while driving, bounce all over from 12.8 constant to 13.2 constant to 14.2 coasting to a stop. Guess I'm paranoid that replacing the green star bus didn't fix my problem. Waiting another week or so till I'm confident
Thank you for the chart Bill. So, if my resting battery, with everything hooked to it and with the truck completely off, reads 12.75 on the posts, it's near 100% good???
