I think that has a lot to do with what lift exactly, and what size offset on the wheels. I can tell you that with a metalcloak 3.5 and chopped fenders and with 3.5inch of backspace on the wheel running 13.5 wide tire you should be able to easily run 40s
Finally got to take her out on a proper trip. We went exploring at coliseum mine just outside of Las Vegas. Super impressed and loving how it’s turning out
Hell yeah, I still have the front diff cover and skid system from metalcloak. Just. Waiting on 5k miles to change the gear oil. Can’t wait to see your build out
Had the day off today, so I got the chance to wrap the brake calipers with high heat reflective wrap, and also remove a bump stop. I only did the rears today, because wrapping these calipers are a huge pain in the ass.
Went ahead and wrapped the entire top end of the truck. Took inspiration from rebel offroads command vehicle. Here is a photo... sorry about the lighting, stupid sun is going down too fast now
Thanks man! I agree, I was never really happy with the 37’s on my last gladiator. I honestly don’t think there is a need for a regear. I still am in 8th all the time on the highway unless I’m accelerating and the power is good still. If your doing 40’s then a regear to 4:10 would make a lot of...
Was able to get my truck flexed out at work today. Ended up with 36 inches to the bottom of the 38 inch tire. I still have room so we will be taking out 1 bump stop in the front and rear to maximize the travel. Here’s some photos.
my buddy just ordered a red glady with red fenders and top.I really like the red a lot too.
Dude I agree, I promise I wasn’t trying to steal your naming convention! Lmao. I took inspiration from a fighter named rory macdonald, as his nickname is the red king. I eventually want to get king shocks...
Sweet rig man! Looking forward to what you end up doing with it. Quick tip, breath on your phone camera and wipe it off with your shirt before taking your photos. It will keep your photo from looking like it has astigmatism.
Ahh man trust me I am super tempted, those thing are amazing. That's why I bumped your ad because I'm surprised someone hasn't scooped them up yet! I would if I could. How are you liking those 3.0?! They look super impressive, but why not do coil overs?
What brand of PPF did you end up doing...
Hell yeah, fellow tradesman! I'm a carpenter but have thought about being a sparky after I journey out. My buddy just ordered his rubi as well, but no word on when 22 will start production it seems. Hopefully I get the chance to install the rear this weekend!
Heck yeah, that's cool to hear! I may consider doing a spacer when I add the winch. I am using the rocksports for now, as a hold over until I can grab some king 2.5 shocks to replace them. So far the ride quality is very close to stock, however now I'm no longer concerned about bottoming out on...
