I'm normally around 68 in a 70 mph zone. 72 when it's 75. Not a grandma driver but not killing myself to get somewhere either. This is my last 1800 miles. There's a few small trips in there (100 to 200 miles one way) a bunch of in town and back and forth to work which was 21 miles one way...
Any check engine light? I can't imagine that there wasn't one while it was acting up.. If so have it scanned. If its a sensor code check that particular plug for moisture.
That has nothing to do with the brand of vehicle. Ive seen that exact scenario countless times..
Your story is common nowadays with new car inventory almost non existent in some places. Everybody is getting premium dollar's for trade ins lately.

For those that are interested. Alternate transportation is not part of your warranty, period. Jeep does however give the dealership discretion to put someone in a vehicle for up to 5 days without pre authorization. They call it "Goodwill", not warranty. Theres a difference between the two...
Use a test light to find the wire that has power when you want it to. Tie into that one. Do not puncture the wire to test it. Either back probe the connector if its not a sealed type or unplug it and test it at the pins themselves.
No issues, no regrets. Love mine. Does everything I need it to. No way I'd ever have their diesel offering. Emissions can be a nightmare, high maintenance costs, DEF, high price of admission and it doesn't get that much better mileage than mine does. Ill gladly give up a little torque not...
