Stock wheels and tires on a Sport S. Pretty much everything in South East TX is close to sea level. That mileage was a 2 lane highway trip (75 miles one way) and a bunch of back and forth to work jaunts (20 miles one way).
I have the 3.6 as well. On trips I can get my distance till empty number up to around 530 but usually fill back up between a half and quarter of a tank. You never know when you're going to be stuck behind a wreck or other delay where you just sit for extended periods of time.
It's never a good idea to purchase the first year of any new product. I say that even though I purchased a first year Gladiator but most everything on it has been on other products in the past.
My guess is the grounds. There are 2 big ass grounds on the frame behind the RF wheel. I'd remove and clean those. Make sure there's no heat shrink glue on the eyelet that would prevent it from making good contact with the frame.
