  1. Need some help with the TSB for steering!

He's a service manager and you had to direct him to the steering box TSB? Really?
  2. Replacing bumper and OEM halogen fog lights

I believe I've had them a hair over a year. Never the first problem with them. No regrets whatsoever nor any desire to change to something else.
  3. Gasser real world fuel economy

Stock wheels and tires on a Sport S. Pretty much everything in South East TX is close to sea level. That mileage was a 2 lane highway trip (75 miles one way) and a bunch of back and forth to work jaunts (20 miles one way).
  4. Gasser real world fuel economy

Keeps getting better. I'm at 21k miles now.
  5. How long it would take Diesel Engine MPG to pay for itself

Gas JT. No way a diesel would ever pay for itself for me.
  6. DP Filter at 100%

Maybe it's you DP Filter;) No such thing as a DEF filter that I'm aware of.
  7. Gasser real world fuel economy

If I got 10 mpg in mine I'd trade it in. There's no way I could reasonably afford to feed it.
  8. Real world MPG, what are you getting in your Diesel?

I have the 3.6 as well. On trips I can get my distance till empty number up to around 530 but usually fill back up between a half and quarter of a tank. You never know when you're going to be stuck behind a wreck or other delay where you just sit for extended periods of time.
  9. Whats Changed On The Gen 3 EcoDiesel

It's never a good idea to purchase the first year of any new product. I say that even though I purchased a first year Gladiator but most everything on it has been on other products in the past.
  10. Steering locked while driving

My guess is the grounds. There are 2 big ass grounds on the frame behind the RF wheel. I'd remove and clean those. Make sure there's no heat shrink glue on the eyelet that would prevent it from making good contact with the frame.
  11. Fog light wire extension

Or just cut and splice wire in for next to nothing. Be sure to solder and heat shrink.
  12. EcoDiesel GVWR Limiting Factor

A few weeks ago I loaded my bed with firewood and drove about 45 minutes. Prior to that I put my air pressure half way between the door rating and max psi listed on the tire. On the way home I watched the pressure on the rear tires. The rears went up 2 psi after about 5 miles then stayed...
  13. EcoDiesel GVWR Limiting Factor

Let's not forget the load factor of the tires.
  14. Max Speed Delete

This has peaked my curiosity in a train wreck kind of way.
  15. GDE is back and making EPA compliant tune!

OK, answer a few questions for those that are reading along. 1) Explain the difference between CARB certified and factory authorized software. 2)If the tune is so harmless, why do you need to remove it prior to going for a warranty repair. 3). Have you sent an e-mail to GDE stating you'd...
  16. GDE is back and making EPA compliant tune!

Considering there is currently no tune for this generation diesel, there can be no restrictions. No tune, no warrranty issues. The last generation diesels were junk. They were being replaced left and right. The manufacturer wasn't looking to deny coverage as law suits were mounting. They...
  17. GDE is back and making EPA compliant tune!

Straw man argument. has nothing to do with my quote. Who exactly is "we"?
  18. GDE is back and making EPA compliant tune!

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you. You're talking apples and oranges. If a dealer doesn't perform a warranty repair because something is out of of the time/mileage criteria and another one does that's called "goodwill" It has NOTHING to do with a scenario whereas a...
