  1. Oracle Flush Mount Taillights Arrived Today

This is all I see when I look at the back of JT’s. It’s even more obvious with smoked taillights (guilty!)!
  2. Gas mileage is concerning..

My commute to work is 99% city driving (there’s 21 red lights between my house and my workplace), and I usually hover between 11 and 13mpg*. If I’m going on a trip to my parents house, that’s 99% Highway and I can get anywhere between 18 and 20mpg* depending on wind, weather, and traffic...
  3. What was your ride before the JT?

Traded my 2018 Challenger for the JT
  4. Max Tow Not Available for 2022 Sport S

High altitude and altitude are 2 different trims. High altitude is an ā€œultra luxeā€ version of the Overland where as the Altitude is the ā€œultra luxeā€ version of the Sport S. Basically a sport S with most the bells and whistles as standard, with max tow being an option for that trim.
  5. Sport S With Body Colored Fenders and LED Package question

Yeah the Willy’s is the only one that’s like that, which is why I didn’t single it out specifically.
  6. Sport S With Body Colored Fenders and LED Package question

I have a 2020 Sport S with the painted fenders. It came with the incandescent fender lights with dedicated DRL and Turn Signal. LED’s weren’t an option when I got mine. This isn’t the case for all trims. LED package on Sport S doesn’t include the LED fender lights. Only LED headlights and fog...
  7. What engine would you prefer? (Revised)

That is not MPGe, but actual real world MPG. He drives less than 20 miles a day and really only uses gas for spirited acceleration or on longer drives. He’s currently tracked about 1,800 miles of use, and has used just over 36 gallons of gas, for an effective MPG of ~50. As far as charging goes...
  8. JT owners age group

I’m interested in how these results turn out. I’m sure the vast majority will be in the over 40 crowd, as that tends to be the point where most people have the ability to ā€œsplurgeā€ on something like a Gladiator. As someone in their mid twenties, I’m definitely fortunate to be in a position to...
  9. What engine would you prefer? (Revised)

Personally I’d like to see them come out with the 4Xe for JT. A vast majority of my driving is around town, and I usually average about 11-13mpg. My friend has a 4Xe JL, and so far he’s gotten anywhere from 36MPG to 56MPG, and between 400 and 650 miles of range between fill ups. He almost...
  10. Feedom Panels vs Traditional Sun-Roof

Since you’re going to be ordering your Mojave directly through a dealer, you can get the Sunrider as a factory option on your build sheet. That will probably be the way to go, as it’s already included in the cost of the vehicle and it will be covered under the vehicle’s factory warranty.
  11. New Maximus-3 Products in the Works! Rear Sliders, Hoop & Snorkel

They sent me a direct message asking me to call their shop directly to inquire about purchasing, but didn’t really answer my questions. It’s a shame because the slider/step combo looks great, and according to the initial post, should be coming fairly soon. They’ve got some interest in them built...
  12. O

I’ve really been enjoying this thread through all its twists and turns. Can’t believe we’ve all gotten to 66 pages! Do you guys and gals name your Jeep’s? And if so, did you put the name on a hood decal? (Show ā€˜em if you got ā€˜em!)
  13. Bought used Gladiator last night....2nd used Jeep product with 35 inch ridge grapplers

I have the Toyo Open Country AT3’s 285/70. They look really aggressive, have great off-road performance (I’ve run them through everything from sugar sand and soft beach sand, to muddy ruts and jagged rocks), and even better on-road manners, great rain traction, and super quiet as well.
  14. 2024 Tacoma (4th gen) prototype breaks cover ?

Toyota has already said that the Tacoma will basically be a mini version of the new Tundra. So far it’s shaping up exactly that way.
  15. Test drove a new Ford Maverick

Ah I must’ve misread that then. That’s a shame. I really do think they should offer the hybrid as AWD. It might kill some efficiency but I think it would garner even more buyers for those in snowier climates where AWD is needed. I’ve seen a few Santa Cruz’s in my area and they look a lot better...
  16. These outrageous "dealership" fees?

Yeah these are ā€œAddendum Stickersā€ and they’re not unique to your area. Almost every dealership from FCA to Toyota uses these things to pad their bottom line on every model sold. When I got my Jeep last year I spent 6 hours negotiating on the OTD price, and refused to pay the addendum. GSM...
  17. Test drove a new Ford Maverick

Yeah the AWD with the hybrid is a very recent addition. Basically Ford realized that combining the tow package with purely FWD wasn’t great and threw in AWD. They actually cancelled those orders and sent memos to all the dealers to resubmit new ones to reflect the change. Edit: Apparently this...
  18. Do you even wheel ?

Citrus WMA is about an hour south of Ocala. It’s just outside of Inverness. They’ve got a lot of trails. I always take the main trail that leads to the campgrounds and then just randomly pick out trails as I come across them. Just be cautious because a few of the trails do dead end at fences...
  19. Test drove a new Ford Maverick

Theres 3 trim levels; XL (Base) XLT (Mid) and Lariat (Top). You can get any trim with either the standard hybrid (FWD) or the more powerful EcoBoost. The EcoBoost can be hand in FWD or AWD. The hybrid is standard FWD, but if you go with the tow package Ford throws in AWD for the cost of the...
  20. Do you even wheel ?

Living in Florida doesn’t offer a ton of off-roading areas, but I mostly go to Citrus WMA, Ocala National Forest, or Osceola National Forest for off-roaring. Although Citrys is definitely my favorite of the 3 as it has the greatest variety of trails; sugar sand, muddy holes, rocky drops...
