You were definitely scammed/misinformed, and that’s probably a common practice at this dealer. EVERY Jeep product now comes standard with Jeep wave for 3 years, and each one of those services is free. You should never had paid them a dime. If I were you I’d look for a different dealer that’s...
The black Sport S wheels are the same wheel design as the Tech Silver wheels, just with a black finish. Jeep has the black wheels as standard, at one point the Tech Silver wheels were a no-cost option, but that is no longer the case. Looking at some photos those look like painted Overland...
Unfortunately, after you had taken a paper towel to it and had etched into the screen, it no longer becomes a Jeep issue. So even tho there was an issue with it already, that most likely would’ve been covered under warranty, Jeep is under no obligation to warranty your head unit now.
In your situation, I’d say save the money on plane tickets, and put that cost towards shipping the vehicle from the selling dealer to you. They will more than likely be able to do the entire transaction electronically, and may even be able to suggest a transport company.
I took mine in for regular maintenance and I noticed they had done about 5 or 6 TSBs, one of which was the a/c. That was back in August, and I haven’t had any more issues since then, either with the hot air blowing back in, or issues with the auto mode being weird. It works as well now as it did...
For what it’s worth the uConnect gps system is pretty great as far as mainstream OEM’s go. I had it in my challenger and used it fairly often. But at the end of the day there really is nothing that can compete with GMaps/Waze.
Yeah I was really sold on them having Amber turn signals. I prefer Amber turn signals over red as I feel like they offer clear communication to other drivers. Now I’m on the fence about them because they just use the running/brake light area. It’s a shame they didn’t go this route or I would’ve...
I’ve seen quite a few of these in person in various colors and trims. It’s looks are very much dependent on the trim and color. Personally I’m in different to them. They look very retro 60’s, so Ford nailed that aspect of it, but some of the specs aren’t that impressive over the JL/JT. I’m also...
I would kill for the export taillights over the options we get in the states. They should just make those the standard lights globally. Enjoy your JT, and can’t wait to see what you do to it!
Did you have any issues while installing these lights? I think there are posts in the other threads about the lights where people have been having issues with a screw that protrudes into the housing area blocking the light from sitting flush when installed.
Build and price hasn’t updated yet on the Jeep website, but I believe it was detailed in the most recent order guide (bottom of page 5). This basically extends Max Tow’s availability to three trims, including Sport S and Freedom.
That’s interesting. I thought the turn signals were going to be shared with the reverse light area. Still looks really good though! I really like the side visibility too. I’ve had several issues with trying to merge or change lanes, but because of the box shape of the taillights, once someone...
Would it be possible to show photos/videos of the lights on (Running, Brake, Turn, Reverse)? These really look fantastic, and the fit and finish in the photos looks far better than the aftermarket lights I have now.
