Exactly what I do. If I’m stuck in heavy traffic on the interstate, I’ll push the pedal all the way down to kick on the ESS. I’m not moving so might as well have the engine kick off. If I’m just tooling around town and catch a light, I just press the brake pedal enough to keep the Jeep stopped...
I don’t believe this is JT 4Xe related mostly because it doesn’t make sense to use a JL in the teaser pics if it’s for a JT model/powertrain. Most likely scenario is bigger tires from the factory which could potentially mean a taller ride height which would translate to better approach, break...
My best guess is that’s the break over angle, with 40.4 being departure angle. Which means at some point they’ll show off something related to approach angles, or just show off whatever it is as well.
I have a little roadside emergency/first aid kit that’s Velcro’d to the carpet under the rear seat and then I just tuck the wheel lock package between the kit and the corner of the plastic bin.
This is quite the narrow minded approach. Tax credit is simply to incentivize EV’s because, as it stands now, they have a higher point of entry. Also the tax credit doesn’t come out of “other people’s money.” That’s just not how it works. FCA (Stellantis) currently offers the $7500 ev credit as...
This is definitely encouraging news. Hopefully it comes sooner rather than later, so I can take advantage of used car prices right now. My buddy just ordered a JL 4Xe Sahara with almost all the bells and whistles. He’s doing a lease for an effective price of $395/mo. Jeep is using the $7500 EV...
I’ve had my JT for 10 months. 2 months ago I relocated for work and about 2 weeks later got Ducked. Today I came out of work to find I had been Ducked again and now I have a Pair!
I bought my truck from a dealer that was selling inventory from a sister store. I bought the truck with 9 miles on it, but at delivery it actually had about 70 miles from being driven to my delivering dealer.
Edit: I bought the truck sight unseen and didn’t test drive any ones the delivering...
So the little “gap fillers” are typical on most Sport/Sport S with the standard plastic bumper (non-chrome inserts around the fog light). I have a 2020 Sport S with painted fenders and the overland style bumper, which didn’t come with the “gap fillers”. I don’t think they’re going to make an...
@ORACLElights these look absolutely incredible! Excellent photos, I might have to take a drive over to Daytona to check them out! Can’t wait for the group buy!
Yes, these will be compatible with the stock halogen lights, but should also work as replacements for the stock LED units as well. That’s why they’re making the sensor panel removable for those who don’t have blind spot and LEDs.
I went with the Mopar mats (bought them through Amazon), mainly because they fill the drain hole, and you just pull the rubber gasket and hose everything away. I looked at other options but didn’t find them to have any real advantages. I looked at weather tech, but they were actually more...
A tad late commenting to this post, but THIS is exactly why I have a front and rear dash cam in my JT. Living in Florida, you run into far too many crazies. Saw a report recently that 25% of Florida drivers are uninsured! But I suggest everyone get themselves some security (and peace of mind)...
I did the plasti dip route initially, but I didn’t find it to be all that durable. My biggest issue was it was nearly impossible to clean it after taking it off-road. No matter how hard I washed it, it always looked brown-ish black.
I have a Sport S and ordered the grille from AllMoparParts. I’m not sure either grille includes the mesh inserts. But maybe the second one includes the plastic inserts? When I ordered my grille, it did not come with the trim rings, and Sport/Sport S models do not include that. Additionally the...
Happy to help! It can be overwhelming looking at all that’s out there. Especially when a lot of these steps/boards only have the slightest of differences between them.
Those are them! I don’t mind the small gap between the top of the boards and the pinch weld. Makes it easier to install IMO, and the boards sit slightly lower making it easier for smaller people to step on to get in. Plus after a while you don’t really notice it anymore.
