With great power comes great (ir)responsibility ha! I have been for a while now just lurking in the dark corners watching everything. Plus, being a mod means I need to get a Gladiator or im not officially official.
I plan on factory ordering mine in the coming weeks when order banks finally open. I have been talking to Chase Firestone from New Smyrna Jeep on and off for at least eight months about JL's and JT's. Our last email over the weekend he was guessing at 4% below invoice but can possibly do more...
Well, I decided to keep my current car and finish paying off the loan. FInancially, it makes the most sense for my family in our current situation. Once it is paid off in roughly two years I will jump into a Jeep and keep it for a fun weekend ride. Being as the monthly payment is so cheap I am...
The Tacoma's are very nice and definitely have my respect. Spent a good deal of time in one all throughout Utah and Arizona and never once did we have an issue or get stuck. Very capable rigs. With that said, you will probably grow to hate a few things about it if you wheel it any. Seating...
I doubt anyone is working on anything as the Gladiator hasn't been released yet but I imagine within the next year we will see toppers available in a host of different configurations. Interested to hear the ideas for the rear AC setup.
Hoping for a Rubicon under 50K with only a few options and a sizable downpayment. If I need to save longer to make it happen then my plan of ordering in March/April gets pushed back a few months. Not a big deal but seeing them on the lots and not driving one is going to be agonizing.
I have personally owned a CJ7, several YJ's, an LJ, and a JK. I was planning on purchasing a JLUR when the new generation was revealed but the JT was announced and that changed my plans. I've looked at a few JL's but its JT or nothing for me.
Absolutely, almost every year. They use EJS as a test bed of sorts to gauge interest and try out prototypes in real world situations. Jeep regularly sneaks future production elements into their concepts in one form or another. Many of the JL's design traits can be seen in older concept vehicles...
That would be a welcomed plot twist. I think most of us are just waiting to see pricing to make the determination if the JT is worth waiting for or not. Once pricing is released it will seal the deal for most of us and personally which model I end up in.
