Can I join the club although my JT is white?
I painted my Gootsie fuel tank Fircracker Red, used the actual Jeep paint code when I purchased the paint.
Like it better then the original color.
AEV bumper still is not available after being introduced for the JL in 2018, it is my favorite aftermarket front bumper for the JT/JL.
In my subjective opinion, those orange HVAC dash rings on the Mojave are as hideous as the red rubicon dash.
Good, key blanks that will work on the JT/JL can be found, but finding a locksmith to cut this type of key in some locations may be difficult.
Using the factory key while making the fob smaller is your greatest design challenge (your welcome Mr. Obvious).
The world is leaving this old Boomer behind, self driving electric vehicles :surprised:.
Toyota/Lexus is always slow to introduce new models, but I'm guessing Toyota will have new FJ type competitor for this new market.
Kind of off topic.
Does the Jeep assembly line get preference on parts when there's a backorder or limited supply? I'm assuming so. For people that ordered and waiting on their new Jeeps to be built, sometimes just one of the picked options can hold your order up from being built, while others...
@ShadowsPapa
Since both batteries are always in parallel except when the engine is shutdown during an ESS event. Could one defective battery drain/damage the other non-defective battery while the Jeep is parked and both batteries are not being charged by the charging system?
The only thing nitpicking fault I have with Diamondback is the placement of the opening mechanism on the top surface of the cover. On rare occasions the openers were kind of in the way when loading a large flat item (had to use padding and spacers).
I also have a Diamondback HD cover. I have the center section marked so I can uninstall or install in about 15 minutes by myself. The front and back sections are very easy to remove/install quickly by one person. The back section can fold all the way forward if you just need to haul something in...
I using two of the Toyota tie down on front of my bed. They work, maybe not as good, The Toyota use friction to hold in place, where the Jeep are held solid from sliding using teeth on the tie down after tighten down.
These will work if you need extras.
Toyota Part number 58461-04020-00, can be found at salvage yards at a good price or new all over the internet at various price ranges.
I thought the thread was about the external cab. :)
Image stolen from @Mojavicon in the "What did you do TO your Gladiator today?" thread #7061, I had to like.
