Well the dealer confirmed that it arrived, however, they have to prep it and it'll most likely be Monday... On October 5, that would be 3 months for a fully loaded JTR diesel.
It looks like those have aftermarket parts on them. The parts don't justify the high price and there does seem to be a mark up on them. But it's not just a straight mark up though.
For the Wrangler:
For the Gladiator:
I think that if the dealer used the same email as your jeep wave account, then you're already signed up. I've gotten emails before I was able to add my VIN.
Agree, and it's only going to get worse before it gets better. Costco and I believe Home Depot are even renting their own cargo ships and thousands of containers. They know supply chain logistics better than most anyone else and that's not a good sign...
I ordered on July 5. Here are the emails from Jeep Wave:
July 30: Estimated delivery of October 16.
September 8: Estimated delivery of October 5.
September 28: Estimated delivery October 4.
According to my dealer the Jeep arrived in the rail yard in Georgia on September 23. I'm hoping its...
I opted for the diesel. I had a JK with the 3.6, even with 4.88 gears it was anemic at best... I'm going to 37s and some are reporting around 20mpg with the diesel and 37s!
Sweet!!! and congrats! Also I like that you went with the soft top. So many gladiators have the hard top. Hopefully I'll be able to get mine this week.
The dealer should be able to provide you with a VIN, it's usually available a few days after the dealer submits the order. To track it, you either have to bug your dealer or ask Jeep Chat.
For Jeep Chat, go to the site below and click on the black chat button on the top left. If you can't click...
I plan on lifting the Jeep and will be replacing the stock suspension, so I got the Rubicon. The stock suspension is probably the only thing that really matters between the Rubicon and Mojave. It's not like a Rubicon's frame is going to fold in half when driving at a moderate speed offroad...
I ordered a JTR Diesel fully loaded and will be right at $60k OTD, depending on the incentives offered when I take delivery. That's truck is a $60k truck new which they're selling for $60k.
Yeah I'm hoping that it's this week. The dealer told me that the Jeep arrived in the rail yard in Georgia last Thursday. But he also said it can take up to 10 days from that point...
I ordered from Mall of GA Jeep but I don't think it's their fault. The plant shut down for a week right before mine was to get built. The status regressed from D-1 to D... I'm hoping to pick it up this week though!
Congrats! I thought the rebates were $2k right now. Do you know which ones were applied?
Also, I'm hoping to visit Mike next week to pick up my Jeep. Glad to hear it was an easy process!
