What is the states tax valuation on the vehicle? And yes insurance companies will use the lowest priced gladiator as a reference. Have your dealer put a value on it. You have to make them find a same year same mileage same condition comparison. Good to know about Allstate too.
I had a 1987 mercedes 190e-16, the Cosworth engined 190. When I dove back from picking it up in Arizona I though I had spaced out and missed a fillup. It was getting 34mpg at 80+! That car could cruse at 130 all day. We have not come all that far since then...
In the US surveillance oversight and accountability is a joke which is why people are rightly concerned.
One of the most valuable data streams are movement. Even if your truck does not connect its announcing its presence to all towers and that data is retained. Our license plates are scanned...
The Moab area is crazy fragile for sure and damage remains visible for years.
So I say, if they are going to restrict it. restrict to hikers and bicycles too so it can recover faster.

18.5 is what I get in CT but this is 6spd. I added a bed cover and averaged 19.5 at 75-80 Colorado to Texas recently. The bed cover did not make much mpg difference at 8k altitude but I definitely noticed the improvement at lower altitude. Ill mention at 8k feet I routinely get 22mpg at 65...
I agree that nearly all of these are user induced however, based on my experience the easy stall low torque dual-mess setup combined with the long mushy break-in period exacerbates clutch abuse. I still firmly standby my theory that the dual-mass makes stalling far more likely and stall...
At 65K I figure its time to swap out the serpentine belt. You would think there would be a ton of videos and diagrams for the Gladiator by now but no. Even a belt diagram is hard to find!
So Im going to resurrect this thread. If anyone has info on this please post. Ill post my experience...
Thanks for the response on dual-mess. I bought this Mojave JT new and broke in the clutch carefully(tedious). I have a manual MJ 4.0 for reference. There is a difference in the WAY these to setups stall. The JT seems to stall abruptly without warning whereas the MJ you can feel the engine...
In an ACT videos I noticed two different flywheels available. Has anyone tested the lighter one yet?
My stock clutch at 58K is fine but the dual mass flywheel has got to go.
One of the ACT videos clamps the flywheel/clutch in a lathe and demonstrates it rather well.
For a truck, the...
58K zero issues pulling trailers over mountains all the time and rocky trails a few times a year.
HOWEVER, a 1500-2000mi TLC breakin was needed. The clutch is now really excellent. Pedal is light and engagement precise. Never overheats even rock crawling or backing trailer up the drive...
