  1. Are any bedracks flush to the roofline?

Okay folks, with a couple of nice days in Denver it got me doing more research than any person should do on bed racks. I've got the following spreadsheet that I'm trying to work out what rack may end up on the back of my Gladiator. Really hoping to see what the Maximus-3 price point will be...
  2. BuiltRight Industries Utility Rail System - A $230 Mopar Trail Rail Alternative

Thanks! Since I'm a bit new to them I forgot I could just spin out the Rotopax mount on the center all-thread. I may situate them 90 degrees again but still on the far edges because it would give me more room in the center for something else. I think I'll have to trade out the factory tonneau...
  3. BuiltRight Industries Utility Rail System - A $230 Mopar Trail Rail Alternative

Just installed the rails the other day and tweaked the placement of the RotoPax mounts to be the way I like them. They were easy to install, though it took me a couple tries to get the RotoPax in a good place! This way I can carry gas on the trail or swap out for water. Still undecided on what...
  4. BuiltRight Industries Utility Rail System - A $230 Mopar Trail Rail Alternative

Just received my trail rails and front panel this week, so about ~5 weeks from order to shipment maybe a hair longer. Waiting on a 4xrac and some other parts before I start bolting everything up. Denver and the surrounding mountains just got dumped on so it'll be a spell before I get to wrench...
  5. Not seeing any overland pictures

Man I really dig the Scrambler stripes with the red/orange/yellow combo. Would love to see a similar mockup on Hydro Blue, though it's definitely bolder than the old J-Series or Scrambler Powder Blue.
  6. Wranglers don't wave

My Grand Wagoneer takes exception to that ;). I don't care though, happy to be in CO where there's a ton of Jeeps on the road, even if half are mall crawlers.
  7. Are any bedracks flush to the roofline?

Yep, per the pics in this thread: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/trail-mods-gladiator-build-sema-2019.24124/ it looks like the rack is slightly above the roofline. It eliminates some of the cross sight lines when looking in the rearview, but might be a good option with some...
  8. Are any bedracks flush to the roofline?

A topper might be an option since I haul dogs for hunting and that would do double duty but I'm hoping to have a little more visibility out of something like a rack. We'll see. I saw some other manufacturers in some SEMA show videos, one with a ladder down the side of the rack as an option...
  9. Are any bedracks flush to the roofline?

Thanks Daryl, with the kayaks being on the long side we'll want to try and get the support as level as we can. I'll play with the numbers and see if I can get a mix of Yakima towers to work with that difference.
  10. Wranglers don't wave

I've had decent success but I'm fairly certain the Wrangler is the second most popular vehicle in the Denver metro behind Subaru Outbacks. I'd say it's a percentage approaching 90% on built rigs, 100% on a dirt road, 60% on all others for returning a wave. I also have a Wag so I tend to wave...
  11. Are any bedracks flush to the roofline?

I'm looking for a bed rack and have a couple (RCI, JCR) in mind for the full height racks, but I'm not entirely sure during my research if any of them are flush with the existing roof line. I'm looking at adding crossbars, probably pillars on the back and gutter mounts on the front and want to...
  12. BuiltRight Industries Utility Rail System - A $230 Mopar Trail Rail Alternative

Ordered my trail rails and front panel about 2 weeks ago. Itching to get them delivered and installed.
  13. Hella Yella JT

I was trying to hold out for a Hella Yella/Solar Yellow one -- but the combination of that color and wanting a diesel made it seem like it would be unobtanium. Couple that with a car accident that totaled my JKU I was thrown into the market earlier. I wish Punk'n was a little more obnoxious...
  14. Those who line-xed their beds

My quote for premium was also $495 via a dealer in Colorado. I think it's likely a contract price for Mopar to local Line-X installers.
