Picked up the trailer on Saturday, brake contoller worked great. Lights turned green when the trailer was connected. The only thing I didn't have time to check out, was what setting to have it on for my trailer.
Another question. The BC took the place of the 12v outlet. My trailer came with a...
Brought it home today. Mopar trailer brake controller worked fine. Although I still have to figure out what setting to have it on. Mirror extenders won't be until Monday so I was extremely cautious on the drive home.
I can't quite tell from your photo but it looks like you just have the stock mirrors on the JT. Did you have a problem seeing around the 21' camper with the stock mirrors?
I will be pulling a 19.5' and wondering if I will need the extenders or not.
Mental note to me:
Don't skim through the forum, actually read it and comprehend it. It really comes in handy.
I ran into the same exact problems. 12V was a PITA and I now have small hole in my thumb from thrying to pry the 12V apart with a pointy object.
I would have known about the Christmas...
Now that I am not on my phone.
The cover will still roll up, but is more of a slide towards the front and roll after you get passed the forward cross bar.
I will be installing this tonight. Thank god for the pictures here, the instructions sucked and I had no idea where the module mounted. My JTR has a build date of 1/2020, I am hoping I don't need a flash.
This is how I haul mine. KB Voodoo cross bars with Yakima High Roads rack. No removing the tire. The crossbars can be removed by removing 4 bolts. Or the feet and crossbars can be removed by removing 8 bolts in the trail rail system (which is also the DIY trail rail that can be done for under...
That is a funny coincidence that you were riding an HH also. I don't have any issues with the HH2 either it is a really fun bike. The Evil Calling has an awesome name and is carbon fiber. And it has been calling my name for the last year.
That's awesome, I want one real bad.
What's probably going to happen is my GF is going to pull the trigger on a Juliana, which will cause me to pull the trigger on The Calling.
The Calling will be a major upgrade from my Marin Hawkhill 2
Is that "The Calling" I see there? My absolute dream bike. I keep talking myself out of buying it.
Also did you change the lettering or do you have 2 Evils?
I have always wanted a Wrangler but never picked one up because I always carry too much shit. When the JT came out, I knew I would have one, just for the bed.
That is the KBVoodoo Hi Rise system. The tonneau cover does still roll up, but it's not as easy as before, can be done with 1 person, easier with 2. It's more of a slide forward and roll once you get past the front cross bar. If the brackets were 1.5 to 2 inches taller it would be perfect.
The camper comes with a camera. I never thought of using it whilst towing. I will have to see how that works out.
I only planned on using it for parking.
