Actually. Funny story. I was working with some of the boys from Hereford a little while back and thats where that phase came from. When they do their domestic rotations, they take audi rs-somethingoranothers and upfit the shit out of them so they could rip around the country on terrorism calls...
Imagine how good that will be on a 1320....hehehehe kidding(ish). I think we’ll find the 1320 is fantastic to about 500hp where it runs out of steam.
Good work, dude. Love what youre doing.
Edit: whats your thoughts on water/meth through a TVS? I hear it both ways
Ive got no major complaints. Ill be replacing the front resonator with a muffler most likely, but im still really happy with it sound/quality/power.
The only issue i have is that sitting at 65mph with 37’s and 4.88 gears, it booms just a bit at that resonance. Its not “drone” perse, but more...
Neg sarge. Deployment money went to the house. I sold my Ram 2500 cummins during the height of covid and made an absolute slaying on it.
All good! Got a buddy coming up to help. We’ll get it knocked out and Ill be ready for that trip with my son!!
Theyre good people in there. Did gears in mine and did a great job. If you need to discuss things with them, i recommend calling. Their text to computer systems doesnt get messages in the right order/flow and it leads to mis communications.
Calculating length vs rate vs load can be done but the math is a bit of a pain in the ass and requires a bunch of measurements.
If you plan on lifting the truck, just get a lift spring with a heavier rate like Clayton. If you dont want to lift it, then an airlift spring or a Timbren spring is...
Firmer fronts were for bottom out and 1” lift. The free length is the same. Rears were softer for ride/articulation off road at speed.
At least thats what ive been told/measured.
