It all depends where the slop is, If its in the drag link or tie rods, then yes it will help. If the problem is loose steering gear or loose mounting bolts, then not so much.
Any resolution with this? Was it the material used in the joint, Bad manufacturing, Bad luck?
Really like the 3 inch Pro X, Just don't want to have to rebuild the joints every 3K miles.
A warranty for the finish at an extra $125.00 plus you would probably have to ship it back to them and pay for that shipping. Not really worth it. Seems like a good deal for the manufacture though. JMO

You've made a total of 5 post, all 5 pushing the Gorilla Glass, We need some proof..... :swear: Its good to try and help others with problems, but to me it feels like you are pushing a product just a little harder than trying to pass along information. JMO
Have you tried moving front wheels to back and back to front? What brand and size of tires? Have the alignment check, you changed the pinion angle, which will change the caster angle.
Tire balance will cause what you are describing. Where were the tires balanced. How accurate was the machine, how sensitive was the machine set, did a wheel throw a weight?
Checked mine after reading this and all 4 were loose, at least one full turn of the bolt before I got to 99 ft/lbs. So I started checking other bolts and so far the box was the only thing that was not torqued to spec.
