why would you need to remove to fit car seats? There is a latch fitting behind the seat if you fold it forward and the head rest will fold down if you want the extra visibility.
To each his own. For me the appeal is:
1. The only mid-size with a decent enough backseat for 2 adults to ride in for more than a few hours
2. Iconic look and performance - Standard D44s, 7650 two and 1530 payload in the maxtow (would like to have seen standard lockers as well)
3. 60/40 Back...
I do understand how gears work, and as I mentioned EARLIER, you would see that I posed the question that way because the 3.73 and 4.10 gears are on different axle widths. Based off some of the comments on the forum it is apparent not everyone knows which axle width they have. IMO, the simplest...
If you are not completely brand loyal, the 2020 4x4 Silverado Crew with the 3.0 can be had under 50 right now and seems to match your needs. A bigger bed, mid 20s FE with 30 MPG highway, and an almost 6' bed. A few months and it will be around 45k. Just something to consider.
Thanks to everyone who responded. There have been 40 votes so far, and still no yes vote for wander issues with standard axle 3.73 and only 15% reporting issue with wide/4.10 set up. I did not expect any sort of correlation as the Wrangler has issues with base and wide axles, but this is...
Sorry not trying to be a jerk, just want to be correct for others, who may not know or be fed BS by ignorant salesman. Your axles are the standard D44 axles, same as what is found on the Sport and Sport S trims without the Max Tow option. The regular tow option makes no changes to the axles...
I
No, The wider track axles are only with the 4.10 gears and not available on Overland trim. Regular Tow package adds the Equipment listed below to all trims. The Sport and Sport S can get Max Tow with wider axles and 4.10, or the regular tow group addition. Rubicon has 4.10 and wider axles stock.
Thanks, my thought is not the gear ratio but rather the wider axles with the 4.10, and the potential correlation (good or bad) to handling issues. The gears is just a simple way of differentiating between the two options.
I have test driven multiple Gladiators and I am curious if the 3.73 has less noticeable wander vrs the 4.10 once tire pressure and alignments have been adjusted to preference. Please vote if you have the issue. Both 3.73 geared JTs I have driven only had a slight wander and the last two 4.10...
Someone stole your premium top out of the back of the truck. They arrive all boxed up.
Send a demand letter to the General Sales Manager demanding your top immediately or you will take legal action (small claims court).
The first plywood thread I have liked, lol. Coming from Houston/Galveston, I know you need to be able to load plywood and sand bag for the storms, lol. In all seriousness be safe and watch for the down power lines and gas leaks.
Actually this is a good place IMO. The guys and gals on this forum shoot pretty straight and far less critical than folks on the ranger and tacoma forums. In fact you’d be called a troll multiple times already on their forums. I have several critical posts as well as positive posts on my...
Yep got local dealer here in metroplex willing to go several thousand below MSRP and I told them at this point I’m waiting on rebates because they are stacking up on the lots.
