What were you smoking during the 1980s to find the K car to be greatš.
I had a 1982 Dodge 400 convertible as my first car when I turned 16. Itās a miracle Iām alive. About 10 horsepower, horrible brakes, engine really loved to stall out middle of an intersection for some reason. Horrendous...
Itās 64GB. Looks like thereās a way to convert it from exfat to Fat32 via a few steps but I think Iām going to just pass on this effort. Thought it may fix my nav that always shows me 100 miles south of where Iām at but I never use the factory Nav anyways.
I tried to do this today with a usb drive that only has an option to format as exFat. The JT is not able to read it. I assume it must be FAT32 and not exfat? I had thought they were compatible.
I may have missed this above, but with the Alpine system, what do you need to do if you want to just run a 6.5" coaxial speaker instead of the separate mid/tweeter in the soundbar? Thinking to get the Select Increments pods and just switch to a nice coaxial. Is the factory crossover removable?
Nice Trans Am OP. Hereās my restomodded 1977 with an LS3 swap with a 4L70E transmission.
@Yellow1098 I also have the same PTFB Viking coilover suspension as you. Itās also got Wilwood Disc brakes front and rear and hydroboost.
This has been a 10 year long project. Pretty much had to...
Was checking that out as well. Geez that has some impressive performance / efficiency stats. Would love that drivetrain in the JT insteadā¦

Yes totally agree - thatās why I mentioned that youād be charging it very differently than a BEV above too since youāre draining the battery likely more frequently.
Another topic is resale value. Seems like the Wrangler PHEVs are holding up their resale prices better than the BEVs. We...
The math on the cost impacts can get very complicated and can be spun 100 different ways. It totally depends on your driving habits. With our EV6 GT, my wife drives it around town so we donāt charge it more than once a week but you charge it all night. The 4Xe is 2 hours on an L2 home charger...
Totally forgot about that benefit. Especially running heavy wheels and tires now my braking on my JT is not fantastic.
From the experience with my wifeās Kia EV6 GT it feels like we barely use the brakes and when you do brake hard, be prepared.
I also just installed the Infinity REF307F speakers in the top of the dash and totally agree theyāre a huge improvement for the Alpine system (especially for $79). Not sure I need to change anything else now as it sounds great and pretty well balanced overall.
Curious how much EV only range itāll get if I transfer over my heavy Black Rhino wheels and 35ā Ridge Grapplers. I guess at least Iād have more power to push them than the V6. Will definitely test drive one if/when they come out. My commute is only 8 miles each way.
Thanks again, got my $20 back from Crutchfield. They really do have great customer service, their prices are just as good as Amazon, and got them just as fast.
Agreed. I think a lot of premium oem systems these days are rip offs - my wifeās car has a āMeridianā premium system and it is worse than the Jeepās. It has 14 speakers but Iāve had systems in the past with 6 speakers that were 10x better.
At this point Iām pleasantly surprised though how...
