If your not gong bigger than 33s Rubicon is the way to go. If your going 35s/37s sport S is the smarter platform. Sure you can throw 35s on the stock Rubicon...but if you flex at all you’ll be buying new flares.

If you get the max tow with the sport S you’ll get dana 44 front/rear axles and 4.10 gears just like the Rubicon. Unheard of on a sport model before the JT came out.

I can’t remember the exact amount but it’s not basically the same amount. It’s several thousand more than if you build a regular Rubicon. What different tires are they doing? Are they 35s?

Because they can fool all the impulse buyers into spending thousands more for a few badges, and not waiting on the cool colors Gobi/gator lol. I think the edition is pretty silly personally. Build your own loaded rubi, and save a few grand.

My sport S I built was 43k. The Rubicon was 50k that I built with virtually no options.

Swaybar disconnects lol? If I did get gator the red outline on the Rubicon sticker up against a greenish brown would have looked horrid anyway. I more than likely would have yanked it off.

Everybody needs to think about this...all the future rubi owners. If your going to build your Rubicon up your going to be losing some very expensive stuff that you will be essentially tossing away. This is my pitch for the sport S. Those fancy fox shocks will be gone for anybody going with 37s...
