I had gorilla Glass on my 17 JK. My 13 JK I replaced the window on twice. My 17 JK gorilla Glass just came out when the window got cracked. Replaced it with gorilla Glass, I can tell you I took a hit from a hummingbird at 74 mph and it didn't even put a scratch in it.. sounded like someone took...
Depends on where you live and where you buy your fuel at... I live in Iowa we get some ridiculously cold winters here. I can tell you I have seen the pumps frozen at Casey's at -11 air temp and seen the pumps still working at Kwik Star/Kwik Trip at -34 air temp.... It has more to do with where...
I changed my oil at 5k for the first change. For the first thousand I didn't use the cruise control and I didn't floor it till after 5k.. this is my third brand new Jeep. I tend to baby them for the first 10k. I've never had any engine issues or transmission issues
When I fill up, the pump will click off at say 14 gallons ( I never let it get below 1/4 tank) then I'll wait a minute and hold it so it just barely spits out fuel and I can get another 3 or 4 gallons in.. I've put 130 miles on before I've seen it come off of full....
Unfortunately yes it is and it sucks ass in a diesel when you have been running 75mph for the last 70 miles and take a off ramp and it stops the engine. You lose all your boost and that sudden off is hard on the exhaust emissions components I'm sure
I think they're located up in Michigan by Detroit, if that's the case and they need one for r&d hell I may volunteer mine. It's only about 11 hour drive
Has anyone on here tried the JKS 3 Inch lift kit on a JTRD? I've been looking at one with Fox 2.5 elite shocks was just curious if anyone on here had tried it yet
My old JKs were way harder on windshields first one at 375 miles. Longest one lasted was 5600 miles then Mopar came out with the Gorilla Glass windshields.... That one lasted the life of the Jeep. It took a hummingbird at 72mph and shrugged it off... Buy once cry once
So looking at getting some ABR cast iron differential covers and powder coating them sarge green to match. Has anyone popped out there plastic dash panels (the red parts if you have black interior) and painted then sarge green?
Raise the rearview mirror an inch and a half, drop the front seats 1 inch up front 2 in back (give us more lower thigh support that way). Add 1 touch up too on the windows
