Can I ask what you're getting with mileage? Did it take a hit with the banks did it stay about the same? That's my big hold up right now is I don't want to totally drop my mileage. I'm probably going to end up with a 3-In JKS lift and 35s eventually on my JTRD
Glad you made it out okay!!! If you have time please keep us posted as to what they figure out what caused it. I see tranny is the leading suspect now...
I have had 2 JK's with the 3.6 Pentastar and manual transmissions. I loved them very much at the time. I could feel the lack of power when I would try to pass on a two-lane highway... Those were Sahara and a 75th anniversary edition. In April I took delivery of my new JTRD.... Hands down 3.0...
On my stock JTRD I get 25-27 overall average. One 2hour trip at 63mph ( Two lanehighway that went through a lot of towns) I got 27.7 for the trip. A lot of what you get for mileage out of a diesel depends on how you accelerate and where you get your fuel. Kwik Trip. Or Kwik Star in the...
Hey, Thank you for sharing what you are getting mpg with the Banks!!!! I was wanting to get it but didn't want to take a huge hut in milage. Now I know I won't... Thanks man!!
I'm 6'2" and both my JKs and my JT have had this issue. I have a long torso I have scrunch down to see the stop lights and the rear view mirror is way to low. That sucker needs to be raised a good 2 inches.... No way I could drive one with the collision detection!!!!
His name is Maximus Decimus Meridius Commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions and loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius...
I'm looking at ordering the whole kit and running a Tazer on it too.. my question is what kind of milage are you guys getting with it on normal driving? Was it a big hit on the MPG? I'm getting 27.5 currently I'm just trying to figure out if I'll loose milage or not..
I took my old 17 jk in for an oil cha fonge and tire rotation and said 3 times make sure they rotate the spare in.... Yeah not only did they not rotate the spare in they didn't rotate the tires at all... After 2 days my oil change light came on... The oil looked very dirty for 100 miles...
My GF's Grandpa had my Golf TDI for a week so I took "Maximus" to work for the week 30 miles 1 way all highway I got up to 27.5 average. 7,000 miles on it seemed to get better after 4,500 miles
I bought dura trac's and had them put on before I even took delivery of it... I had them on my 13 Wrangler loved then. Got 5k on them with this Jeep great tire
So my question is when do you do your first oil change on a Eco Diesel? I'm a bit old school on my 2 previous Wranglers I did my first oil change at 700 miles. I've read that changing the oil on the Eco Diesel to soon and often can actually hurt the engine... What is the consensus on here?
