Pretty awesome someone actually used this option finally. I had looked into it seriously but of course sold the JT before making the mod. I Have a 2 lo mod on my TJ and use it almost every time I go out to make tight turns significantly easier and reduce the risk of snapping a front axle. Hope...
no it came with the sqitch pros system. I am not sure if its still manufactured or not Anymore. If you look close at my build photos I think it shows an engraving of the company that makes it.
I've been watching a few videos on swapping the TJ 4.0 out for a Kubota mechanical diesel. It's pretty cool! I bet a 4bt would be nice in the gladiator
i ended up with the Ironman XT-71. It worked great and i still have it to put On the LJ. They have a new version now though but i think only the arms are different.
Dang man that sounds like a bit of troubles might be lurking in the dark somewhere. I sure hope you can get ahead of it before something bad happens. I do for sure miss my Gladiator, but man a few friends of mine, and our government trucks, have been having such absolute trash service at our...
I think it's just fine with 33's. Here was mine - stock 33's with AEV 2.5" dual sport. Keep in mind if you are heavy, and I was heavy at a little over GVW, with 35's you will most definitely want to re-gear to probably 4.88's or even 5.13's. Keeping the 33's you are 'ok' with stock 4.10s for...
It's definitely a difficult decision. I like the comforts and convenience of new vehicles but between dad and my own experience I just dont trust them as much. And the warranty issue is a big problem with both the manufacturer not standing behind their vehicles, and dealers either not willing...
It's really a tough thing. I loved the Gladiator so much. So comfortable and capable. But for me, seeing the paint bubbling on my hood, after already a botched warranty fix on the transfer case, and seeing that the drivers side valve cover was a 8 hour job, and then the ticking concern....it...
Oh no!! Man that really sucks...
I have to admit, I'm still sad about selling the Gladiator. But, I've had no worries or concerns about the reliability and repairability of my TJ and LJ....
Yeah I totally get that. I was somewhat considering getting a 2 door wrangler since 25 is supposedly the last year for them now. But considering so many, including myself, had some really crappy warranty work experiences, the potential for more recalls doesnt instill a lot of confidence.
Unfortunately, yes. After no responses and winter coming I had to toss almost everything in the dump. I do have the MOPAR rock sliders and tonneau cover left though.
Its cool stuff. 10-15 years ago only a few gov agencies were allowed access to sub-meter GPS satellites. Now most agencies have that access although there are still some satellites that are DOD and NSA use only of course but they are dedicated for particular uses. The LiDAR I mentioned is...
Its super cool stuff!! If you really want to be blown away, do some google searches on 1m LiDAR. It is amazing. We can use it for all sorts of analysis. My favorite is seeing historic sites and deep seated landslides. even more cool is the raw point cloud data and how you can use it to...
this in a nut shell is exactly it. Ill see if I can find some links tomorrow to share that are public. But basically thr whole forest is mapped. Roads, trails, etc. But also things we use for procesing and analysis that nobody has a clue about. Like wildlife areas for Griz or lynx or denning...
