Ellington is the end of Porter Road.
I was just up in Union this past weekend for a short run with the family. Water was deep, bow wave was at the top edge of the hood. Found some more trails, didn't go too far because it was just us. There is a lot up there.
I'm down with planning something...
I have been stuck at about 16MPG since I bought the truck with the stock M/T tires and manual transmission. Planning on going with 37's once money is saved up. Last thing that crossed my mind when buying the Gladiator was MPG. Was doing some research though and I have found a few options to get...
Part for the HD bumper: 82215691AD
I have the optional winch protector and needed to order a different skid plate. I was able to use the factory LED fogs with an adapter I bought. Winch plate is from ATP, single piece unit.
Steel rear is standard on the JTR, plastic front is standard on the JTR. There are two factory options for the front in steel, 3 piece steel and the Heavy Duty single piece steel. I have the HD, by mistake, was my fault when I ordered it. It is a very nice heavy duty bumper.
New England is the worst with left lane drivers, especially people from MA. (NH mostly excluded , lots of MA transplants though and VT somewhat excluded.) I swear they are taught in driving school to always stay in the left lane. I drive about 30K per year for service and install work, company...
Is there a heater option for them?
I see you are in Buffalo, NY, my family is from the Ogdensburg area, I know the winters up there. I have not driven my JT with the factory LED's yet in winter but am hearing they are not great shedding snow. The heaters in the Truck Lites worked very well on...
Gotta say, the 2nd 1 was a Discovery 1, we had one, leaked like a sieve but man that thing was an animal. Couldn't stop it. Would have lifted and kept but wasn't worth anything.
Land Cruiser 60 series, same
4 Tacoma's 1st 3 manuals, last was an automatic, (Company truck), last vehicle before the Rubicon JT was an 87 Land Cruiser. The JT compared to the Tacoma, way nicer interior, fit and finish, the V6 with the manual gets up and goes. I will say there was less shifting in the Taco 6 speed than the...
For my conversion, at the mirrors I used RC car battery connectors, they are inside the door through the mirror boot. Protected from the weather and if need to remove the mirror, both the factory connector is there and turn signal connector is there. Inside the mirror housing the wires are crimp...
To remove the caps: You need to "pop" the mirror out, takes some force but they will pop out. Once out, you only need to unlock the clips, no screws need to be removed. Having multiple small flat head screw drivers helps keep unlocked tabs from relocking as you go around.
Only issue with my 21 M/T Rubi is 3rd gear. Sometimes I need to jam it pretty hard. Very random when it happens. All others no issues. Only have 1800 miles so far. Clutch catch has worked it self out and is much smoother/higher now.
Clutch is easier now with some mileage on it now.
However, 3rd gear shifting into it, every now and then you really need to jam it in there. (That's what she said!). Can't figure out the cause. When it happens, try to make it happen again and it won't. Flat, hill climb, heavy throttle, light...
Got it. It was the first vehicle I ever ordered, was told 8-12 weeks but closer to 6-7. 12 weeks later and I was loosing it. It sat in the lot at the factory because of shipping issues caused by the manual software flash. 1 day, flash was done, 30 days to get to CT from OH.
