Painted the bumper. I practiced on the winch plate. Which turned out terrible. I messed the primer some how. It was strange. But this universal paint says it doesn’t need it. So I didn’t use primer on the bumper. And thing went much smoother
I debated the fog lights. But motobilt said they are removed to minimize the size of the bumper. It’s a trade off: internal winch or internal fog lights, or bigger bumper.
I decided to go with external fog lights.
That same part is used on the mopar gladiator 2” lift. It’s listed by part number in their instructions. It’s a little longer and the joint looks like it would flex a little more.
Sweet deal for $60 if you are doing a spacer lift.
I did mine alone in my driveway. It took two days. It tired me out.
I’d recommend a long torque wrench. A full two foot long one.
I had coil spring clamps, but didn’t use them.
I used a ratchet strap to line on the axle for the last bolts. I ended up cutting it because I couldn’t un latch it.
Installed rock hard 4x4 rails. Theses are angled up version. They fit great. I did have to drill out two holes.
The finish is textured a little but still glossy .
