This is the rattle can special. I sanded everything with some 800 grit sandpaper, then two coats of primer, three coats of Mopar Gator touch up spray paint that I found online, and finally two coats of a flat clear coat. I painted all the chrome around the instrument panel and vents black.

I’ll get a better photo in the morning, but I changed out the Jeep logo with this one from Hauk.

Finally took delivery. First mods were a bushwacker hood guard and a stubby antenna.

How’d you black out your badges? Paint, plasti dip, or just replace?

It looks a lot like coyote and acts similar in that the color changes drastically depending on the lighting. I like it a lot.

Same here. I PCS from Italy early next year and I’m taking stateside delivery, so I’ve got time to wait. My price is below MSRP, but not 5-7% like some guys are getting. Still, it’s good enough and I don’t have to drive a few states over to get it.

Did anyone do a MAS order and is still waiting on the steel bumper to be available? I ordered a gator rubicon with the steel bumper and my dealer said it isn’t available yet. I thought this was weird because I’ve seen plenty of members not ordering through MAS get theirs with steel bumpers already.

I was able to put my gator on order through Military Auto Source, but no VIN until the color starts production. He’s supposed to email me as soon as it hits.

Can you snap a pic of the trail cam view with the front loop. Does it block it at all? I’m looking at doing the same front bumper setup.

I still have a while OCONUS and MAS is typically easier to deal with. Also, the closest dealer I could find that would do 5% under is six hours from my HOR. I’d prefer to go with MAS and have it delivered to my hometown, but I’m willing to make the drive if I can’t get it worked out.

Is anyone having issues with MAS not price matching? The quote MAS gave me was $8000 higher than some quotes I’ve gotten from US dealers. When I showed the quotes to MAS, they said they can’t price match because those quotes are subject to change.
