Yeah, of all the companies making REAL rock sliders, their stuff is the most bomb proof.
White Knuckle Offroad sliders for the Gladiator will be worth the wait.
Hilarious. Everyone I know that owned an āEcoBoostā anything has had issues. Like stranded in the middle of nowhere issues.
Compare that to the 3.6L Pentastar Upgrade (PUG) engine and itās not even a fair fight when it comes to reliability. Twin turbos on anything built for āremote travelā is...
Go on their site and price one out. I was quickly above $80K...
... for that, you get Land Rover's infamous lack of reliability, and their wacky styling that looks like a Mini Cooper on 33's. I wouldn't drive one for half their asking price. Fugly is fugly, and the Defender fell out of an ugly...
Iāve been doing this for 40 years. Lifelong BFG fanboy. Until I tried a set of Falkenās.
No comparison in the wet, ice or goo. No comparison with tread life or road noise.

I donāt know a single, serious...
If you insist on a true, high quality CHINESE made winch, you should try COME UP winch.
All BS aside, a real competitor for the best from Superwinch and Warn.
If you look at Warn, they are still making winches in Oregon.
VR series is not. And they donāt hide that. But winches like the 8274, M8000, and the Zeon series are made here.
Good article on this HERE
Harbor Freight and Smittybilt are both crap. A friend of mine in the industry quotes failure/return rates as high as 50% with Smittybilt winches. Buyer beware.
SUPERWINCH on the other hand makes some really well thought out winches like the Tigershark and the Talon.
I have a new Talon sitting...
