  1. Gladiator sales down 22% in 4Q, 29% overall in 2023

Why not fix those items? None of those sounds that bad. My Ranger was a genuine, documented, piece of garbage. The JT clutch issue is a little pathetic but otherwise I've been extremely happy with my Jeep. If mine got totalled tomorrow however, I'd probably go look at the new Canyon or a manual...
  2. Gladiator sales down 22% in 4Q, 29% overall in 2023

I had a 5G Ranger that was a PIECE. OF. CRAP. Had many issues, the trans being one of them. I really just wanted a manual truck and the Jeep was a good option for me so I got rid of the ranger after 8 months. The way the Jeep looks and the top coming off is mostly cool factor for me. I don't...
  3. Fellow Jeep enthusiast and family could use some help...

Threw a little something. Thanks for sharing.
  4. Steering wheel play - normal or not?

@Badunit appreciate the detailed response. I've always felt that it's likely normal but being my first vehicle that doesn't have rack and pinion, I wondered that maybe it wasn't and I'd never know. I did a little experiment where I moved the wheel back and forth like shown in the video while I...
  5. The clutch recall was recalled?

There are a few people on the Facebook group who have said the same thing after getting the recall performed. I wonder what's changed.
  6. Gladiator sales down 22% in 4Q, 29% overall in 2023

I didn't realize rates were that bad. I'm at 4.8% paying around $350 a month on a 60 monther so I'm pretty content with that.
  7. Will my wheels not work with new Clayton Overland + kit

Manufacturers, Clayton, AEV, Synergy, and more, all say you need 0ish offset wheels but after two years of owning my truck, I haven't seen a good explanation for why this is. 35s work on factory suspension but not a lift? I don't get it it.
  8. Gladiator sales down 22% in 4Q, 29% overall in 2023

@Jglad15 Yes, now they are all pushing upper 7000s which wasn't the case just 5 years ago before all the newest generation trucks started coming out. May or may not have much bearing on purchase decisions but it seems to be a huge topic in truck forums. People talk about 100lb payload...
  9. Disable honking when stepping out while engine is running

Only close the driver door to the first "click" and it won't honk. Alternatively, I'll just have my humanoid robot get out of the car and handle the menial tasks while I stay in the driver seat.
  10. Gladiator sales down 22% in 4Q, 29% overall in 2023

Just throwing this out there: I'd estimate that I see 100 non-Jeep midsize trucks for every JT I see. Most people want a pickup truck, not a Jeep, and the JT is a Jeep Wrangler with a pickup bed. Ford, Chevy, Toyota all offer trucks with big payloads and towing capacity now and better engine...
  11. Steering wheel play - normal or not?

Bone stock sport s with the exception of 33" wild peaks. Truck is OFF in the video. Is this roughly normal? https://photos.app.goo.gl/MEbQ2d2cPXQ5ssjJA
  12. "Chunky" 6MT shifting?

I believe you can adjust the cables for the shifter. I think Centerforce has a video on this. My Mazda was the same way after installing a short shifter and I adjusted the cables to fix it.
  13. Stock sport with 35x11.5x17

The part number for the longer Mopar control arms is: 68322798AA
  14. Stock sport with 35x11.5x17

Looks great! This forum needs more Sport love.
  15. Pre-Runner Springs - lots of rear wheel travel

Looking forward to more info. That's a massive amount of rear wheel travel.
  16. Whatcha Sippin On?

Found my BCBS. Several years ago they did one exclusively in rye whiskey barrels. This one is almost as good.
  17. Rear brake lines

On my 5G Ranger, there was a procedure to bleed the ABS pump that was entirely done with a computer. Sounds like the same thing here. Enough people have replaced those lines that we'd know about any issues by now.
  18. Installed Rough Country powered running boards.

That looks great. Didn't know RC made steps like that. After installing the factory steps (got them for free from another GA member), I still feel they're way too tall to be of much use. Some trim lok on the pinch weld would probably help it look less barren in that area.
  19. Katzkin with mojave seat foam for a 2020 sport

Do you already have the Mojave foam installed? Didn't know that was possible and I've always been one of the people who complain about the seats.
  20. Low field of vision through front winshield

Common complaint. Solution: DDI seat slammers and flip your rearview mirror upside down for an extra inch or so of visibility.
