I place a tire and wheel order with Custom Wheel Offsets and they seemed confused about TPMS sensors. When I ordered them it was all good adding the sensors (I ordered over the phone), I kept getting these text messages from them saying to add the sensors. I called them to see what the deal was...
Yes, I did the bumper jump thing...neighbors thought i was crazy! I had the angle finder all over it before the lift and set it all back to the same or as close. Exception is castor, I set it about 1 degree more + as best as I can tell. I like a little more castor feel.
I looked at the bronze...
So, I am attempting the suspension lift install on my Sport S diesel. I have run into a problem with the passenger upper control arm frame side bolt. I cannot get it out because the exhaust down pipe is right next to it and won't let the bolt come out. The bolt is too long and hits the exhaust...
I picked up a replacement bolt at the local hardware store. The thread is different, but that doesn't matter since I also picked up a nut with it.
It's really not a big deal....for some reason I was hesitant to cut on the brand new bolt on the brand new Jeep! Weird I know..
Btw, thanks for...
I just put the Clayton ride right lift on my diesel sport s....today. It was the 2.5" lift and they shipped it with the 3.5" front springs and 2.5" rear springs. I have no rake at all, she sits level and still on stock tires as I wait for my 37 KO2 to get here.
The ride is just like stock, but...
Ok, I got it on and dialed in. I'm still on stock tires while I wait for the 37 bfg ko2's to get out of quarantine.
The ride is just like stock! Maybe even more controlled feeling...not nearly as much floaty sway feeling. This kit is a home run!
I took plenty of before measurements and angles...
It stopped me for over an hour while I contemplated what to do. I looked on the net hoping to find something like you did. In the end it is probably the only thing you can do.

Anxiously awaiting my 2.5 ride right with fox 2.0's for the Sport S diesel. Will I be the first one to post about it on a diesel??? Anyone else report back to you on a diesel? I guess it depends on when I can tackle the install after receiving the lift.........
I think you did enough, the guy walked away feeling like the jackass he is ......... I assume. You never know about people these days, he could've had a knife or a gun in his pocket and looking to use it. No damage to the glad and no headache for you from a more in depth confrontation.
I just pulled the trigger on some BFG 37 KO2's mainly because I am not off roading the Gladiator (I have a TJ for that) AND because of the weight. They are 71 lbs and the Ridge Grappler is over 80 lbs. I am trying to save weight where I can and wanted to be able to possibly put a spare 37 under...
You sound like I feel about my Sport S diesel.........it is a very refined vehicle and seems more so than my 2013 ford F150 FX4. It is eons more refined than my 2000 TJ for sure. So far, I am very impressed with this Jeep and even my 70 yr old Dad (who always told me jeeps were junk - waste of...
I just filled up yesterday after emptying the dealership filled tank. I am averaging 24.8 mpg according to the computer. When I set the cruise btwn 65-70 it shows 29-33 mpg when not against a headwind. 70 -75 it shows 28-31, so not bad at all. I wonder where it will go when the 37's are on it...
