Please tell me what the EV buys you in the big, heavy Gladiator. Yeah, I guess you could run kids to school and back, but quite frankly unless they push the technology further than the point where you can get an extra 15 miles on EV, then I'll pass. To me, it's just technology built into the...
As stated, the V8 is dead. No 392 in a Gladiator, ever, unless you pull one out of an existing vehicle and put it in the JT. As for electric, well, that's just stupid and I would think that Stellantis knows that. They have an electric Jeep that only gives it about 15 miles of range, which...
What you're missing is the same sales figures for GM, Ford, and Toyota. This really means nothing unless you see those as well. And, I've read reports about GM and Ford ceasing production of their pickup trucks for a while....it could just be a trend in the market. Everybody is gaga over...
Thus far, the behavior of the new tires is really good, I can't notice a difference in handling, the way she drives, and the noise level is still around what the old tires were, and they were street tires. I'm very impressed with these thus far, and I'll post up mpg numbers when I fill up the...
Thank you, and this was very helpful. I was able to get on the highway again, with Waze going this time, and the nubers I saw jived exactly with the link you provided. I'm getting within 1 MPH at lower speeds, below 50 mph, and above that, it's generally a difference of 2 mph, all the way up...
Thanks, I took the closure panels out shortly after I bought the truck, and cut them down so I could still cover the foglights. It made it look more like the Rubicon, and made the ability to put larger tires on much better. There is zero rubbing with these tires.
Yes, 3.73 gears, that's what kept me from going with 35 inch tires. I'll eventually save up enough to re-gear, then get larger tires, but these are great for now. I took her on the highway after driving off, and I'm still hitting 8th gear at the normal times. I still need to use Waze to see...
I would say that the two hardtop pieces on the front weigh about 20 pounds each. I'm guessing, I haven't weighed them but they are easy to manipulate.
You don't need a hoist to remove the rear top. Me and my son removed it easily by standing on each side and lifting it up, after taking the...
I trimmed mine down too, and by the way, I think they're actually called closure panels. The air dam is that hunk of plastic under the engine, at the front end, that supposedly protects the engine.
It was time to change the factory tires, I dang near wore them out. I just had Discount Tire put on Falken Wildpeaks in 285/70/R17 and I really love the look.

Well now, that's a whole 'nother kettle of fish. Long guns in Texas can be carried openly, even in your truck. You do take the chance, though, of getting pulled over by a new nugget that isn't familiar with the rules. In the city, you don't see gun racks hardly at all, and you sure don't see...
I carry on my person, but I do keep a holster inside the console in case I need it. I haven't mounted anything permanent there, but I might at some point. One of those coated magnets would work great, if you could get it to screw into something substantial, you have to use a lot of resistance...
