Before I bought the lights I had read about issues with them. I was hoping I wouldn't have any but here we are. I hate the factory lights. They look like 2 warts the way they stick out. Just wanted to know if the people who had problems with the lights were able to get good customer service or...
Had the oracle flush tailights on my gladiator for 4 months. Noticed the passenger side brake light does not work. Everything else does. I emailed oracle and have a picture. Is it worth the hassle to get a replacement or should I get something else?
I'm building my gladiator to do similar things. I went with the mopar 2 inch lift and 35 inch tires. It probably gave me close to 3 inches of lift total. For tires I went with the Mickey thompson baja boss a/t's in 255/85r17 size. I think its the perfect combination to do what I want to do.
I will be storing some things there but there isn't much room in my bay. The tool box I have at work is smaller than the one at home so no room in it for more tools.
I pretty much can fill a garage lol. I was a mechanic at a Jeep dealership. I still work on cars for work but I build police vehicles now. More electrical work than mechanical.
No fleet here. Just have the 2011 Grand Cherokee and the Gladiator. The Grand Cherokee will be up for sale soon. The rest of the jeeps in my sig have been sold long ago.
Apartments here in Pa are outrageously expensive. I have to work 6 days a week and a ton of overtime to afford a place. On top of a large auto loan payments student loans and so on. So no room in the budget to rent a space to store tools or anything. It all must go.
Have to move out of my house and into an apartment. I have to sell everything I own. Including all my tools. What tools should I keep so I can still work on my Gladiator? I have a huge harbor freight tool box filled to the brim with tools and I need to shrink that down into 2 3 drawer craftsman...
Me personally don't like spacer lifts. I just installed the Mopar 2 inch lift kit and love it. Just add a front adjustable track bar and your good to go. I know spacer kits are the cheaper option but I would not go cheap on a lift kit. AEV also make good lift kits as well.
Yeah same here I'm assuming they meant at full droop. I know on the AEV kit I put on my wrangler it came with brackets to relocate where the rear brake line attaches to the frame. There were nothing like that in the Mopar kit.
Just got my jeep back from getting the tires and alignment done. Did the mopar 2 inch lift and 255/85R17 Mickey Thompson tires. The shop said the rear brake lines are stretched pretty good. Has anyone else noticed this? There was nothing in the instructions that I remember seeing about...
Doesn't matter to me what tires they are. I still start at what the door sticker says. I have never had any issues running non stock tires at the door sticker psi number. I will be putting 35 inch tires on my gladiator this week and will run them at the same pressure as what the door sticker says.
Me personally I don't like spacer kits. I would rather do a full kit springs and shocks. I am not into full rock crawling either but want to be able to travel anywhere needed to get to a good camp site. A level kit and 33's will certainly get you through most service roads. I like the additional...
First you have to decide what you want to do with the truck. In my case I am building an overlanding vehicle. So I did 2 inch mopar lift kit to fit 35 inch tires. Future mods will be front bumper and winch, skid plates, roof top tent and so on.
Went to the show today. Kinda disappointing. Quadratec and General tires usually has a big display but they were not there. I know the weather today wasn't great but there were still a lot of people there. If you were there I was the idiot trying to sell the fender flares from my gladiator.
