I too did the mopar lift kit. Very happy with it. I like the rake because I'll be loading up the bed with a rack and tent so should sit close to level with that added weight. Only thing I added was front adjustable track bar.
Bought the Openroad4wd roll up tonneau cover. Installed it and it is not waterproof like the company states. Curious if anyone else has this cover and could share any tips for installing it. Instructions are no help and the few videos I have watched are not detailed enough. I really want to like...
So I was sort of in a similar predicament. Had to move to an apartment so could not keep 2 jeeps. Had a 2011 Grand cherokee with hemi and 95,000 miles and a 2012 wrangler sahara with 140,000 miles. I ended up trading the wrangler for a 2024 Gladiator leftover and got a decent deal. I then sold...
I originally was building my 2011 Grand Cherokee to be an overlanding vehicle. When Jeep came out with the Gladiator I could not wait to get one. Though it took me a few years I got one. It is the perfect (for me) overlanding vehicle. It combines the fun driving of a wrangler with the utility of...
I ended up buying a new tonneau cover. Got the openroad4wd retractable cover. Its got t slots to make mounting a rack easier. I'm still leaning towards billie bars and a topoak tent but still undecided.
You can add more battery power to some power stations. Bluetti has several additional battery packs to increase capacity on some of their models. I do like the genesis system but its expensive and right now my jeep is still under warranty so don't want to get that invasive until warranty expires.
Shopping for a winch. I have the rugged ridge arcus bumper. Looked at badlands and found openroad winch on amazon for a really good price. Does anyone have the openroad 12k winch and is is any good? The badlands winch seems popular. Just trying to get the best bang for buck winch.
My first Jeep was a 2008 Patriot. Liked it for a while until the sun roof started leaking. Lemon lawed it and got a 2001 Grand Cherokee which I absolutely loved. At the same time bought a 1994 Jeep wrangler. Had so many problems with the suspension on the Grand Cherokee after lifting it, I...
So I'm building out my Gladiator for overlanding. I have been researching till I'm blurry eyed. I do like the Genesis system but my Jeep is still under warranty and don't want to get that invasive right now plus the expense. I will have a winch, ARB single air compressor, and a small...
Not sure I would ever buy a used lift kit but thats just me. I know lift kits are expensive. I was lucky to get the 2 inch Mopar lift while Quadratec had it on sale.
2024 Gladiator 2 inch mopar lift and 35 inch skinny tires. Building my Jeep for overlanding and may want to tow a small camper. With the weight of gear (RTT bed rack etc) Should I regear for towing a camper? Have the max tow with the 4.10 gears. When I retire I will be living full time out of...
